Sorry, your system and KDE/Qt installation is quite old. Please try recent
version (KDE 4.10.5 or 4.11.1, Qt 4.8.4 or 4.8.5) to see whether the problem
still exist.

Laurent, perhaps a better way of seeing important bugs at the top of your list
is to sort by votes rather than by bug number. Marking a very old bug like
this one as a duplicate means that everyone who's voted or CC'd on this one has
to manually transfer their settings to the new bug. :(

[Akonadi] [Bug 255388] Kmail filters dont work in incoming mail

2013-09-19 Thread Graeme Hewson

--- Comment #94 from Graeme Hewson b...@wormhole.me.uk ---
Following on from my comment 93, now a message has been left in my inbox after
an automatic mail check. Again, the message was moved to the correct folder
after applying filtering manually.

So this is more than a one-off, but an intermittent bug, and can occur with
automatic or manual mail checks. I'm on 4.11.1, using the Kubuntu PPA.

[kontact] [Bug 325084] New: Search folder from kmail should not appear in kjots

2013-09-19 Thread piedro
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=325084

Bug ID: 325084
Summary: Search folder from kmail should not appear in kjots
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: kontact
   Version: 4.11.1
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: mail
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: piedro.kul...@googlemail.com

After doing a search in kmail I get a search folder in kmail. This one stays in
kmail and I can modify the search by right clicking the search folder and
choosing find messages.

However: In Kontact I open the notes tab that shows the Kjots notebooks. For
some reason that is beyond me the same search folder (the one from kmail) shows
up in kjots (though it shows no content here!).

This should not happen, right?

Well, I deleted the empty search folder in Kjots. Going back to kmail to my
dismay I find the search folder has disappeared here also! No big deal, I
thought, and wanted to setup the search again. But now when I try to set up a
new search by using the find message with the same settings for search
criteria as before I get a no such collection error.

I had to open a new bug here because I don't know what all this relates to,
sorry for that.

In addition

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create a search in kmail2
2. open kjots and find the search folder here
3. delete the folder and try to set it up again in kmail
Actual Results:
no such collection error prevents setting up the same search folder again ...
(even after restarting kmail or kontact

Expected Results:
- search shouldn't show up in kjots
- deleted searches should not prevent setting up the same search again

Imho Kjots is very buggy and doesn't progress anymore. It should be removed
from Kontact asap and replaced by a different notetaking application such as
Basket or a Zim Clone or a Evernote Integration ... it is really hard to get
Kjots running as expected and it is not well integrated in anything on the
desktop ...

just my 2c,
thx for reading,
piedro

[kmail] [Bug 159296] kmail unuseable with cyrusIMAP - on reading mail KMail tries to set more flags than just SEEN

2013-09-19 Thread Andre Heinecke
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=159296

--- Comment #14 from Andre Heinecke aheine...@intevation.de ---
Git commit 81897c5c0a188ff6dc9933ce30c2cc3215f85323 by Andre Heinecke.
Committed on 19/09/2013 at 16:26.
Pushed by aheinecke into branch 'enterprise/e3'.

Only update SEEN flag when it is the only allowed

If the server says in the select command that a folder
is read-write Kontact assumes that it can modify a basic
set of flags. (See the bug for more info) But if we can
only modify SEEN we can reuse the setSeenFlags functions.

This is a bit of a workaround for a proper and generic handling
of the permanentFlags but since this is only relevant for
the old code I did not want to change more then necessary to
solve the concrete Problem.

2013-09-19 Thread Konrad Renner

--- Comment #57 from Konrad Renner koni_ren...@gmx.at ---
(In reply to comment #56)
 Hi,

On Monday 16 September 2013 21:29:19 you wrote:
Finally, it works on my machine too. The Problem was, that nepomuk had not
indexed correct the Akonadi data. I had to make Nepomuk rescan everything,
now it works even when I restart my Computer without any script

The script not working for you was, I believe, because Ubuntu links /bin/sh
 to
dash and not bash. Changing line 1 of the script to #!/bin/bash should
 correct
 this.

Without the script, are you sure that Nepomuk is indexing current data? If
 you
add a contact to an Akonadi resource and reboot does that new contact get
indexed? My testing indicated that it was not. Hence the reason for creating
 the workaround.

 Regards,
 Neil Darlow

Thx, now the script works

I clicked shutdown in the menu that pops up after hitting the shutdown button
