Tiff and HPGL tools
Hi, I am looking for tools or even better libraries that can report statistics about tiff files and HPGL files. The most important statistical item I am looking for is the size and direction of the images. -- Thanks. Re: Tiff and HPGL tools
Got great answers for TIFF files. I didn't find any of the tools to support HPGL though. Does anyone know about HPGL info utilities? Since he was refering to HPGL images, I ASSUMED that they had originaly been destined for a pen plotter or a device such as a milling machine. How you hold the result, i.e. a plot or an circuit board, or a gear, etc, is almost irrelevant. The plots themselves have an origin (0,0) and go from there. However they may have an intended viewing direction, but AFIK that is not in the HPGL file at all. (it is in tiff) Geoff. -- Geoffrey S.
