Re: [abcusers] Sorting ABC files

2003-10-16 Thread Neil Jennings
My program HARMONY can present the list of files within an abc tunebook in
either title or number sequence.
If anyone wants the file written out in a new sequence, I could easily add
that facility.

(Download HARMONY shareware from www.greenhedges.com. Its original function
was to add chords to a tune but it now does much more)

 I've written a little routine which runs under Windows 3.1, 95, 98
It's a bit like Noddy, wobbles a bit, but the bell on the hat still rings.

Re: [abcusers] Multivoice in ABC 2.0

2003-10-16 Thread ANewman110
I do not like the unnecessary proliferation of inline fields of
 ABC2.0.

I don't think its unnecessary. If you want to change clefs in mid line, for instance.
I don't like using the K: field to indicate cleff since most of the tunes that use
the V: field to date don't specify a K: for each V: (as I mentioned in the
documentation of iabc). That is, most people expect voices to 'inherit' the key
specified in the K: field.

[abcusers] Binary for Jef Moine's 'tclabc'?

2003-10-16 Thread Don Whitener
Hello,

Does anyone have a Windows binary for Jef Moine's 'tclabc', used in
conjunction with his tclabc/tkabc GUI (see http://moinejf.free.fr/ )? I
understand that for Windows this compiles to a single DLL. If available, I
would very much appreciate a copy; I do not presently have the capability
to compile this DLL.

Regards,
Don
