RE: [ActiveDir] Microsoft Announces Vision and Roadmap for Active Directory
It's amazing how: ... renaming of several capabilities with the Active Directory brand... can ... help customers simplify deployment and administration, lower the total cost of ownership, enhance security, and streamline compliance... What's in a name? well there you go. Who'da thunk it. I'm gonna have a look at some stuff I'm working on, I think if I rename it, I can get a lot more value out of it. The auto industry have been doing this for years. [not a dig at joe - honest!] Add some chrome, add some new buttons and dials, add 5 extra BHP and call it a model refresh. Raise the price by 10%, increase sales by 20% and laugh all the way to the bank :) Sorry, my cynical hat is on today :-^ -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Rich Milburn Sent: 21 February 2006 14:50 To: ActiveDir@mail.activedir.org Subject: RE: [ActiveDir] Microsoft Announces Vision and Roadmap for Active Directory It's amazing how: ... renaming of several capabilities with the Active Directory brand... can ... help customers simplify deployment and administration, lower the total cost of ownership, enhance security, and streamline compliance...
