FS [price drop]: 2017 13" no Touch Bar MacBook Pro 2.3gHz i5 16Gb RAM 256GB SSD

2023-03-11 Thread 'Hal' via LEM Swap
This MacBook Pro is in nice condition, easily an 8/10. It only has typical wear
and tear, no major dents/dings/scratches. The display is clear and bright.
It’s the same slim form factor as the current MacBook Pros, and this one is
Space Gray.

This is the non-touchbar version (with 2 Thunderbolt 3 ports), so it has the
full row of function keys and the SSD can be upgraded.
It originally came with a 128GB SSD, but has been upgraded with an Apple OEM
256GB SSD.
This is the last model where the SSD was removable/upgradable.

Specs are:
2.3gHz dual-core i5 CPU
16GB RAM
256Gb Apple OEM SSD
2 Thunderbolt 3 ports (USB-C por type)
Wifi, bluetooth, etc all present and working great.
Fulls pecs/profile are at:
https://everymac.com/systems/apple/macbook_pro/specs/macbook-pro-core-i5-2.3-13-mid-2017-retina-display-no-touch-bar-specs.html

The battery has just over 600 cycles on it, and is now recommending service. I
still get good battery life out of it (it’s showing 76.5% of original
capacity).

It’ll come with the laptop, Apple USB-C power adapter and cable, and a clean
install of MacOS Monterey.

Asking $350 or best offer.

Hi, this is the last version of the Airport Extreme base station. It’s the

It looks great, works great, it’s just not needed for my setup anymore.

Asking $75 shipped in the US.

FS: 1TB OWC Aura Pro X2 SSD for Macbook Pro/Air

2022-12-28 Thread 'Hal' via LEM Swap
This is an Aura Pro X2 1TB SSD from OWC that’s a drop-in upgrade for 2013-2015
MacBook Pro (13 and 15 inch), and 2013-2017 MacBook Air models (11 and 13
inch). It’s exactly the same form-factor as the Apple OEM drives, so no adapter
is needed. It’s plug-and-play.

It works great, no issues, and is freshly wiped and reformatted. It’s much
faster than the OEM SSD in compatible models.
I used it in a 2015 13” MacBook Pro and saw read/write speeds of 1200-1500
MB/sec. This was about 3x faster than the stock drive.

I bought it in June 2022 for $225, and OWC still sells it for $149 for the bare
drive.

Ships with just the bare SSD, ready to drop into your laptop. Install in a Pro
or Air is about a 5 minute job.

Asking $100.

FS: 2015 11" MacBook Air 2.2gHz i7 8GB RAM 512GB SSD

2022-12-22 Thread 'Hal' via LEM Swap
Hey Swappers,

I’m selling my travel laptop, since I’m not doing much traveling. It’s been
seeing little use, so here we are.
It’s maxxed out in all specs from Apple.
It’s tiny, it’s fast, and it deserves a good home where it’ll get more use.

Specs:
2015 (last year of production) 11” MacBook Air
2.2gHz i7 CPU
8GB RAM
512GB SSD (Apple/Samsung OEM)
Only 320 battery charge cycles, still holds a great charge
All the ports and functions work great. The display is clear and bright. No
issues.

Cosmetically, I’d rate this a 9/10, with only very slight wear and tear. No
dings/dents/scratches that I can see.
It’s in a clear shell case and has a palmrest protector installed.

It will ship with the hard shell case, a Speck rigid sleeve case for travel,
and a Magsafe 2 AC adapter.

Asking $350 or best offer

FS: 2015 15" MacBook Pro 2.8gHz 16GB RAM w dual graphics 1TB SSD new battery

2022-12-19 Thread 'Hal' via LEM Swap
This is the 2015 CTO version of the 15” MacBook Pro.
It’s the last model before the switch to USB-C, so it has a full complement of
ports.
It’s the top end version with the following specs:

2.8gHz Quad Core i7 CPU (Fastest CTO option)
16GB RAM (CTO option)
1TB SSD (Upgraded to Crucial NVME SSD with Sintech adapter, very fast)
15” Retina display (with glass screen protector installed)
2 Thunderbolt 2 ports
HDMI port
SD card slot
2 USB3 ports
Hard shell case on it since new
Palmrest protector installed

This laptop basically looks new. No dings/dents/major scratches. It’s in a
clear hard shell case, and looks great.
I installed a new battery this past summer (newertech from OWC), and it only
has 15 charge cycles.
The Retina Display is clear and bright with no dark/light spots or other
issues.
I also installed a glass screen protector, so the screen looks perfect.

It’s been on my desk hooked up to a Thunderbolt Display, and hasn’t traveled
much.
It works great, looks great, and is very fast with the 16GB of ram and the
upgraded SSD.

It will ship with the laptop in the hard shell case and an Apple Magsafe 2 AC
adapter.

Asking $600 or best offer.

FS: 2nd gen original iPod 20GB in collector condition

2022-12-03 Thread 'Hal' via LEM Swap
This is a second generation iPod, the first generation with the touch wheel.
It’s the larger capacity 20GB model.
It’s in “almost like new condition” with no scratches on the front and only
some very light scratches near the center of the mirrored back. The firewire
port door is intact.

It works great and the battery holds a decent charge.

If you’re looking to add one of these to your collection, this is probably the
cleanest you’ll find that’s actually been used.
Just the iPod is included.

Asking $150 or best offer, shipped in the USA.

2022-12-03 Thread 'Hal' via LEM Swap
This is an iPhone 7 in Rose Gold (pink) with 256GB storage.

Overall, it’s in excellent condition, no dings or dents in the case, the screen
is clear and bright. The screen glass does have a chip/crack along one edge,
outside of the viewing area. I actually didn’t notice it until I took the case
off. It in no way interferes with using the phone, but it's there if you look
for it.
Battery holds a good charge, and everything works well.

It was originally on AT, but has been unlocked. You should be able to pop in
a SIM card and go.

Asking $75 for the phone and matching Apple leather case, or best offer.

FS: 2015 Macbook Pro 13" 16GB 3.1gHz i7 1TB SSD

2022-11-22 Thread 'Hal' via LEM Swap
This is the 2015 version of the 13” MacBook Pro. It’s the last version before
the switch to USB-C, so it has a full complement of ports. It’s the top end
version with the following specs:

3.1gHz Dual Core i7 CPU (CTO option)
16GB RAM (CTO option)
1TB SSD (Upgraded, WD Green 1TB with Sintech adapter, very fast)
13” Retina display
2 Thunderbolt 2 ports
HDMI port
SD card slot
2 USB3 ports

No major dings/dents/scratches. Some minor edge scuffs and minor surface
scratches, but no dings. The battery has 250 charge cycles on it and holds a
good charge. The Retina Display is clear and bright with no dark/light spots or
other issues.

This laptop had the random shutdown issue, and had the logic board replaced,
and has had no issues since.
It has the (fairly common) antiglare/staingate issue, and has had the coating
removed. The screen is sharp and bright, and I don’t actually notice any
difference from when it had the coating.

It has a clean install of MacOS Big Sur, and will ship with just the laptop and
a magsafe2 AC adapter.

Asking $550 or best offer.

FS: Mac Mini 2012 Server 2.6gHz i7 16GB Ram 4TB Fusion Drive

2022-07-27 Thread 'Hal' via LEM Swap
I’m reconfiguring my home network, and am taking this mini out of service.
It was used as an iTunes media server for streaming movies to my AppleTV and
backing up my mobile devices.

It’s the top-spec 2012 Mac Mini (CTO) with the following specs:
2.6 gHz Quad-core i7 CPU
16GB RAM (upgraded to the maximum)
Dual internal SATA drives, configured as a single 4TB Fusion Drive:
  2TB (spinning disc) hard drive
  2TB Crucial SSD

The Fusion Drive makes it really fast, and the quad core CPU and 16GB of RAM
make it a great workstation or server.

All of the usual ports and other features. It works great, has no obvious
physical imperfections (scratches, dings, etc.)
It’s got a clean install of Mac OS Mojave installed. Comes with just the Mac
Mini and a generic (black) power cord.

Asking $550 shipped in the US.

FS 2nd gen original iPod 20GB in collector condition

2022-07-18 Thread 'Hal' via LEM Swap
This is a second generation iPod, the first generation with the touch wheel.
It’s the larger capacity 20GB model.
It’s in “almost like new condition” with no scratches on the front and only
some very light scratches near the center of the mirrored back. The firewire
port door is intact.

It works great and the battery holds a decent charge.

If you’re looking to add one of these to your collection, this is probably the
cleanest you’ll find that’s actually been used.
Just the iPod is included.

Asking $150 or best offer, shipped in the USA.

FS: 2015 11" MacBook Air 8GB RAM 128GB SSD

2022-06-23 Thread 'Hal' via LEM Swap
Hey swaplisters,

I’m selling one of my MacBook Air spares.

This is the final version of the 11” MacBook Air that Apple made (2015 model).

Specs are:
8GB RAM
1.6gHz Dual-core i5 CPU
128GB flash storage (Apple OEM SSD)
Intel HD Graphics 6000 with 1.5GB VRAM, shared with system memory

It has the usual complement of ports, USB3, Thunderbolt2, etc. Everything works
great.
The battery only has 75 charge cycles on it, and still holds an excellent
charge.

The screen has no scratches or bright spots, and almost no wear on the
keyboard. The palmrests and trackpad are similarly like new. The bottom of the
case has 1 tiny dent and a couple of surface scratches. The outside of the lid
had some larger superficial scratches, but no dings/dents or dented corners.
Overall, I’d rate the cosmetic condition about 8/10.

It’s super small and light and makes a great travel or student laptop.
It has a clean install of MacOS Big Sur installed.

It comes with the laptop in a hard shell (translucent gray) case and an Apple
Magsafe 2 power supply.

Asking $200, shipped in the US

FS: Space Gray 2019 13" MacBook Pro - Quad 2.8ghz i7 16GB RAM 1TB SSD

2022-05-27 Thread 'Hal' via LEM Swap
This is the “top spec” CTO Space Gray 2019 MacBook Pro 13” (Touchbar, Touch-ID,
4 Thunderbolt 3 ports)

Specs are:
2.8gHz Quad-core i7 CPU
16GB RAM
1TB SSD
Intel Iris Plus Graphics 655
Four Thunderbolt 3 ports
Retina Display with True Tone technology
Updated/revised keyboard mechanism
Works perfectly and only has 65 charge cycles on the battery.
It never really left my desk, where it was plugged into a Thunderbolt display
and wireless keyboard/mouse.

Here’s a link to the full specs:
https://everymac.com/systems/apple/macbook_pro/specs/macbook-pro-core-i7-2.8-quad-core-13-mid-2019-touch-bar-specs.html

It’s been in a hard shell case and had a palmrest protector on it since new, so
it’s easily a 9.5/10. Display is perfect.
No visible wear on the keyboard, case, etc. No dings/dents/scratches that I can
see.

Ships with the hard case, the original box, AC adapter and USB-C/power cable.
Box is a little beat up, but the laptop is perfect.

Asking $949 or best reasonable offer.

FS: 2014 13" MacBook AIr i7 8GB RAM 512GB SSD

2022-05-14 Thread 'Hal' via LEM Swap
This is the CTO model of the 13” MacBook Air from 2014. It was maxxed out to
the highest specs for that model:

13” Display
1.7gHz i7 dual-core CPU
8GB RAM
512GB SSD
All of the usual features (bluetooth, wifi, thunderbolt port, 2 USB 3 ports,
etc)

Full details on this model are:
https://everymac.com/systems/apple/macbook-air/specs/macbook-air-core-i7-1.7-13-early-2014-specs.html

Functionally perfect, quite fast, it's running a clean install of OSX Big Sur.
Cosmetically it’s a 9/10, only showing shiny spots on some of the keys, no
other real wear. No dings/dents/big scratches, etc. It was kept in a case, so
the outside surfaces look brand new. Screen looks great, no bright/dark spots.
Battery has about 350 cycles on it, and holds a great charge.

Ships with the MacBook Air and the original Apple AC adapter and extension cord.

Asking $400 shipped in the US.

REDUCED: Space Gray 2019 13" MacBook Pro with 2.8ghz i7 16GB RAM 1TB SSD

2022-05-14 Thread 'Hal' via LEM Swap
This is the “top spec” CTO Space Gray 2019 MacBook Pro 13” (Touchbar, Touch-ID,
4 Thunderbolt 3 ports)

Specs are:
2.8gHz quad-core i7 CPU
16GB RAM
1TB SSD
Intel Iris Plus Graphics 655
Retina Display with True Tone technology
Updated/revised butterfly keyboard mechanism
Works perfectly and only has 65 charge cycles on the battery.
It never really left my desk, where it was plugged into a Thunderbolt display
and wireless keyboard/mouse.

Here’s a link to the full specs:
https://everymac.com/systems/apple/macbook_pro/specs/macbook-pro-core-i7-2.8-quad-core-13-mid-2019-touch-bar-specs.html

It’s been in a hard shell case and had a palmrest protector on it since new, so
it’s easily a 9.5/10. Display is perfect.
No visible wear on the keyboard, case, etc. No dings/dents/scratches that I can
see.

Ships with the hard case, the original box, AC adapter and USB-C/power cable.
Box is a little beat up, but the laptop is perfect.

Asking $999 shipped in the US.

FS: Late 2013 13" Macbook Pro 2.8gHz i7 16GB RAM

2022-04-09 Thread 'Hal' via LEM Swap
This is a clean late 2013 13” Macbook Pro with the following specs:
2.8gHz dual core i7 CPU
16GB RAM
512GB SSD

All ports (USB, Thunderbolt, etc) work with no issues.

I’d rate it an 8.5-9 on a 10-scale, as it shows some wear (shininess) on the
keys and light scratches on the bottom of the case. No dings/dents. The display
is clear and bright, and only has very superficial wear/marks/light scratches.
Nothing that distracts from normal use. I’m happy to send pics of the laptop.

The battery was replaced last year and has 135 charge cycles.
Ships with a clean install of Mac OSX Big Sur, as well as the Apple AC adapter.

Asking $350 shipped in the US.

FS: Apple Airpods 3

2022-04-04 Thread 'Hal' via LEM Swap
I have a like-new set of Apple AirPods 3 for sale. This is the new version that
Apple introduced last fall, with spatial audio, improved sound, etc.

I bought these over the holidays, but haven’t used them more than a dozen
times. The work and sound fantastic. Comes with the AirPods in the Apple
wireless charging case as well as a rubber cover for the case and an Apple
Lightning to USB-A cable. The charging case has been in the cover since new, so
it’s scratch-free.

Apple sells them for $179 new, and these are as close as you can get without
buying them new in the box.
I’ve wiped the AirPods down with rubbing alcohol and cleaned the speakers with
AirSquares cleaning putty, so they’re clean and ready to pair and go.

Asking $130 shipped in the US.

FS: Apple 1TB SSD for 2013-2015 MacBook Pro

2022-03-27 Thread 'Hal' via LEM Swap
I pulled this SSD from my mid-2015 15” MacBook Pro with Retina Display.
It will fit in any late 2013 to mid 2015 MacBook Pro.
It doesn’t need any adapter or firmware mods, it's plug and play.

It’s the 1TB OEM Apple/Samsung blade-type SSD.
Works great, I just needed more space. Tested with Disk Utility and there were
no errors.

Asking $150 shipped in USA or best offer.

This is the top level configuration of the 2018 13” MacBook Pro.
It’s compact, lightweight and very fast.

Specs are:
Space Gray
13” Display
2.7gHz quad-core i7 CPU
16GB RAM
512GB SSD

It’s been mostly used on a desk in my home office, and overall, I’d rate it at
least 9.5/10 cosmetically. No noticeable dings/dents/scratches. The display is
clear and bright with no issues, the keyboard shows very little to no wear.
It also has a palmrest protector installed.
Computer will be wiped, and boot up with MacOS Big Sur, like a brand new
machine.

Ships in the original box, with the laptop, AC adapter, and USB-C power cord.

Asking $999 shipped by insured priority mail in the US.

FS: 2015 Macbook Pro 15" 2.5gHz i7, 16GB RAM 512GB SSD, dual GPU

2021-04-06 Thread 'Hal' via LEM Swap
This is the early 2015 15” MacBook Pro with the “discrete GPU option”.
Depending on how much you throw at it, it switches between the low power
integrated GPU and the more powerful discrete graphics chip. It’s really fast.

Specs are:
16GB RAM
2.5gHz quad-core i7 CPU
512GB SSD
Dual graphics chips: 2GB Radeon R9 M370x, and Intel Iris Pro
Full specs at:
https://everymac.com/systems/apple/macbook_pro/specs/macbook-pro-core-i7-2.5-15-dual-graphics-mid-2015-retina-display-specs.html

Overall, I’d rate it a 9.8/10. It’s really clean. No delamination of the
screen, no dings/dents on the case. It has a palmrest protector installed and
has been in a hard case, also included.
It will be wiped and have a clean install of MacOS Mojave. It fully supports
everything up to the current MacOS Big Sur.

Ships with the computer, hard case, and AC adapter.

Asking $700 including shipping in the US.

Reduced: Late 2103 13" MacBook Pro 2.8gHz i7 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD

2021-03-07 Thread 'Hal' via LEM Swap
This is the late 2103 13” MacBook Pro, with the top specs for that generation.

Specs are:
16GB RAM
2.8gHz dual-core i7 CPU
512GB SSD
Intel Iris 5100 graphics

Full specs at:
https://everymac.com/systems/apple/macbook_pro/specs/macbook-pro-core-i7-2.8-13-late-2013-retina-display-specs.html

Overall, I’d rate it a 9.5/10. It’s really clean. No screen is great, no
dings/dents on the case. It has a few minor scratches on the case bottom. It
also has a palmrest protector installed.

It will be wiped and have a clean install of MacOS Mojave. It fully supports
everything up to the current MacOS Big Sur.

Ships with the computer and AC adapter.

Asking $450 shipped in the US, or best reasonable offer.

FS: Apple 512GB SSD for MacBook Pro or Air

2021-02-24 Thread 'Hal' via LEM Swap
I pulled this SSD from my 2015 13” MacBook Pro with Retina Display. It will fit
in any 2013-2015 MacBook Pro, or 2013-2017 MacBook Air.
It doesn’t need any adapter or firmware mods, it's plug and play.

It’s the 512GB OEM Apple/Samsung SM0512F blade-type SSD.
Works great, I just needed more space. Tested with Disk Utility and there were
no errors.

Asking $90 shipped in USA or best offer.

2021-02-21 Thread 'Hal' via LEM Swap
This is the early 2015 15” MacBook Pro with the “discrete GPU option”.
Depending on how much you throw at it, it switches between the low power
integrated GPU and the more powerful discrete graphics chip. It’s really fast.

Specs are:
16GB RAM
2.5gHz quad-core i7 CPU
512GB SSD
Dual graphics chips: 2GB Radeon R9 M370x, and Intel Iris Pro
Full specs at:

Overall, I’d rate it a 9.8/10. It’s really clean. No delamination of the
screen, no dings/dents on the case. It has a palmrest protector installed and
has been in a hard case, also included.
It will be wiped and have a clean install of MacOS Mojave. It fully supports
everything up to the current MacOS Big Sur.

Ships with the computer, hard case, and AC adapter.

Asking $770 including shipping in the US.

FS: Apple iSIght Firewire Camera

2020-12-25 Thread 'Hal' via LEM Swap
This Apple iSight comes in the original box with all of the mounts, cables,
accessories. It’s in as close to “like new” condition as possible. None of the
adhesive mounts have been used. I just used the magnetic mount to put it on top
of my Cinema Display, and it works great, tested under Mac OSX versions up to
Mojave. It should work with any Mac with a Firewire port. It comes with the
original Apple FW400 cable, so you’d need an adapter to use it with a FW800
port. It may work under Big Sur as well, I’ve just not tested it.

Asking $75 shipped in the US, or best offer.

FS: OWC 13-port Thunderbolt 3 dock

2020-12-03 Thread 'Hal' via LEM Swap
This is the previous generation Thunderbolt 3 dock by OWC in Space Gray.
I like this version because it still included a Firewire-800 port. Other than
that, it’s basically similar to the current version.

Ports include: Audio in/out, 5 USB-A ports, FW800, Gigabit Ethernet, SD card, 2
Thunderbolt 3 ports, and Mini-displayport/Thunderbolt 2 for external display.

It does support charging over Thunderbolt 3, so it will charge a Thunderbolt 3
equipped Mac. I’ve used it with both 13” and 15” MacBookPro models.

Original price was $299. It has some minor scuffs/scratches on the top and
bottom surfaces, so it’s not “like new”, but it works great. Wear and tear is
minor.

Here’s a review of the dock:
https://9to5mac.com/2017/09/06/owc-thunderbolt-3-dock/

Asking $170 shipped in the US.

FS: Powerbook 180c 14MB RAM 150MB HD

2020-09-21 Thread 'Hal' via LEM Swap
I'm thinning my collection a bit, so I have for sale my Powerbook 180c. It's in
excellent cosmetic condition (easily 9/10). It has the max ram installed, 14MB,
and a 150MB hard drive, running MacOS 7.5. It has various vintage software and
games on the hard drive. Of note, at some point, the bottom cover was replaced,
so it is labeled 165c on the bottom, but the rest of the laptop is original
180c, and this is what it says on the bezel below the screen. These models
shares the same case, so at some point, someone must have swapped it for
cosmetic reasons. I does not come with a battery, as I don't have one that
holds a charge. It is also missing the back cover, that covers the ports. The
active-matrix display is clear and bright.

It runs well, but has 2 issues. First, the sound is not working. I suspect that
it needs to have a capacitor replaced on the logic board for that. Second, on
occasion, it is reluctant to start. I suspect that the power port is loose, and
needs to be re-soldered, as it generally works once I unplug it for a bit, and
then plug it back in and hit the power button. It's been largely sitting in a
box since I acquired it some 15 years ago, so I figured I'd see if there's
anyone out there who is both a collector and looking for a new project.

These are pretty rare in good condition, and as it’s almost 30 years old, I'm
selling it as is.

Again, I'm selling just the laptop, no battery, and no AC adapter.

Asking $120, including insured shipping via priority mail, in the US. It will
be well wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in a priority mail box.

FS: 2018 MacBook Pro 13" 2.7gHz i7, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, 4 Thunderbolt ports

2020-09-10 Thread 'Hal' via LEM Swap
I’m selling my 2018 13” Retina MacBook Pro in Space Gray.
It was just refurbished by Apple, so it’s basically a new machine.

I noticed that it had the battery swelling issue that some of the 2016-2018
laptops have, and Apple took care of it by replacing everything but the
display, (including the full topcase, updated keyboard mechanism, bottom case,
battery, etc). It really does look brand new.

This was the top of the line 13” version (with Touch Bar and 4 TB3 ports), and
has the following specs:
13.3” True Tone Retina Display (2560x1600)
2.7gHz quad-core i7 CPU
16GB of RAM
512GB Flash Storage (SSD)
Intel Iris Plus 655 Graphics
Four Thunderbolt 3 ports
Force Touch Trackpad
Touch Bar with Touch ID

Full specs are here:
https://everymac.com/systems/apple/macbook_pro/specs/macbook-pro-core-i7-2.7-13-mid-2018-true-tone-display-touch-bar-specs.html

I’m the original owner, and purchased it new in August of 2018 for $2499.

It’s really fast, light, and a great machine all around.

It ships in the original box and packing with the original AC adapter and USB-C
charging cable.
It’s always been in a smoke-gray Moshi hard shell case, which is included as
well.
It has a clean install of Mac OSX, so it boots up like a new computer.

Asking $1550. This includes Priority Mail insured shipping in the US.

FS: 2013 Macbook Air 11" 1.7gHz i7, 8GB RAM 128GB SSD

2020-08-31 Thread 'Hal' via LEM Swap
This is the 2013 model of the MacBook Air with an 11” screen. It has the
upgraded 1.7gHz i7 CPU and the max of 8GB of RAM. It has the original 128GB
Flash Storage.
No obvious dents/dings/scratches on the case, the screen looks great. It has a
Moshi palmguard installed on the palmrest, and has since I got it.
Cosmetically, it’s at least a 9/10. It has a clean install of Mac OSX Mojave,
and comes with just the laptop and an Apple Magsafe 2 AC charger.

Asking $400, shipped in the US.

have, and Apple took care of it by replacing everything but the display,
(including the full bottom case, keyboard, battery, etc).

It ships in the original box and packing with the original AC adapter and USB-C
charging cable.
It’s always been in a smoke-gray Moshi hard shell case, which is included as
well.
It has a clean install of Mac OSX High Sierra installed.

Asking $1650. This includes Priority Mail insured shipping in the US.

This 2017 Space Gray MacBook Retina basically looks like new.
It’s been in a smoke-gray hardshell case since new (included), and there are no

really looks like new.

Specs are:
8GB RAM
1.3gHz i5 dual-core CPU
512GB flash storage
All the standard features (USB-C port, headphone port, bluetooth, etc)

The drive has been set up with a clean install of Mac OS X High Sierra, and you
can update that up to the current version.

Full specs can be found here:
https://everymac.com/systems/apple/macbook/specs/macbook-core-i5-1.3-12-mid-2017-specs.html

Comes in the original box/packing with original AC adapter and USB-C cable, as
well as the hardshell case.

Asking $775 shipped in the USA, or best reasonable offer.

FS: MacPro 2008 8-core 2.8gHz (dual quad core) Xeon with 16GB RAM

2020-06-26 Thread 'Hal' via LEM Swap
This is a 2008 Mac Pro, 2.8gHz dual Xeon processor quad core (8 physical cores)
with 16GB of ram.

It’s been upgraded with a Radeon 7950 3GB video card with Mini DisplayPort (2),
hdmi and DVI ports.
The video card is supported in MacOS with no hacks.

It has a 500GB hard drive and stock SuperDrive.

I also installed the Apple wireless card, so it has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

The case has no dents or bent handles or cosmetic issues. It looks great.
It’s heavy, so shipping will be a bit expensive (in the $100 range in the US),
so the price is plus actual shipping cost.

Asking $400 plus actual shipping

REDUCED: Space Gray 2017 12" Macbook Retina 1.4gHz i7, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD

2020-03-02 Thread 'Hal' via LEM Swap
This is the top spec 12” MacBook with Retina Display (space gray) that Apple
produced.
When Apple has them in stock on their refurb store, they still sell for over
$1400.

It’s the maxxed-out CTO configuration with:
16GB RAM
1.4gHz i7 dual-core CPU
512GB flash storage
All the standard features (USB-C port, headphone port, bluetooth, etc)

Full specs can be found here:
https://everymac.com/systems/apple/macbook/specs/macbook-core-i7-1.4-12-mid-2017-specs.html

It was just serviced under Apple’s keyboard recall program, and received a new
top case with the improved keyboard, so it’s basically a new machine.
No scratches or dents that I can see, it looks like new. Battery still holds a
good charge.
Comes with just the laptop, USB-C charging cable and AC adapter.

Asking $975 shipped in the USA.
Shipping will be insured Priority Mail.

FS: 2011 iMac 27" 3.4gHz i7, 32GB RAM, Fusion Drive

2020-01-24 Thread 'Hal' via LEM Swap
This is the top of the line iMac from the late 2011 version.
It’s the 27” model, with the following specs:

Quad-core 3.4gHz i7 CPU
32GB RAM
upgraded 2GB Video Card
Internal 256GB SSD and 2TB HD, combined as a 2.25TB Fusion Drive
Internal optical drive
All of the usual features: airport, bluetooth, thunderbolt, usb, etc.
Fresh install of MacOS X High SIerra

It’s in great shape, no scratches on the screen, etc.

This model was known to have the original video card fail, and this happened to
mine as well.
I had the video card replaced about 5 years ago, and upgraded to the larger 2GB
version, and it’s been largely unused the last several years.

It will ship in the original box, with an Apple USB keyboard and wireless Magic
Mouse.

Asking $400 or best offer, plus shipping.

This is Belkin’s small, super-useful Thunderbolt 2 dock. It uses the
Thunderbolt 2 (mini-displayport style) connector, so it works without an

to the USB-C type port.

It has Thunderbolt, HDMI, USB, headphone audio, and gigabit ethernet ports.

It comes with the power adapter and a 1-meter Thunderbolt cable.

FS: 3rd gen iPod nano product (red) 8gb

2018-09-02 Thread 'Hal' via LEM Swap
I’ve had this sitting on a shelf, so maybe someone needs it. It’s the 3rd gen
ipod nano, the short, more square-ish one. It the special edition Product (red)
version in 8GB capacity. Only very minor wear and tear, no major dings dents or
scratches. It comes with a clear hardshell Belkin case that also protects the
scroll wheel. The case is the same red as the iPod. Battery holds a good
charge. I also found a red iFrogz speaker case that I’ll include as well. Just
selling the ipod and the cases.

Asking $50 shipped or best offer.

FS: iPhone 7 256GB Black

2018-08-02 Thread 'Hal' via LEM Swap
This is a black iPhone 7, 256GB model in black.

It’s in perfect condition, having had a case and a glass screen protector on it
since new. I’ve used it for about 18 months, and the battery still holds an
excellent charge.
It was purchased unlocked from Apple, and was never locked to a carrier. I’ve
used it on AT, but it will also work on Verizon, etc.

Ships in the original box with the AC adapter, lightning to USB cable, and
lightning ear pods.

Asking $500 shipped in the US, or best offer

FS: 2015 Macbook Air 13" 2.2gHz 8GB Ram 512GB SSD AppleCare

2018-07-23 Thread 'Hal' via LEM Swap
This is an early 2015 13.3” Macbook Air with 8GB of RAM, a 2.2gHz Core i7 CPU,
and 512GB SSD (flash storage).

This is the highest spec they offered on the Macbook Air, and is exactly the
same as the top of the line you can get new from Apple for $1549 or as a refurb
for $1319 right now.

It’s in near perfect shape, and has been in a Speck shell since I got it.
It is under Applecare until June 14, 2019, so almost another year.

It’ll be wiped and have a clean install of Mac OSX on it.

No dings, dents or major scratches on it. Display is bright and without
scratches, or other issues.

Will come with the Speck shell (satin black) and an Apple Magsafe 2 AC adapter.

Asking $875 shipped in the USA.
