Dear Mike, please only send plain text messages to mailing lists [1][2]. On Mo, 2011-02-28 at 20:54 +0100, Michele Cane wrote: I am testing natty on my pc(alienware m15). The audio is not working at all. My card is hda-intel and the codec are realtek alc899a. Has anyone the same config or knowbhow to fix the problem? Please follow the debug instructions in the ALSA Wiki [3], i. e. at least attach (*additionally* upload) the output of `alsa-info.sh`. Since you are using Ubuntu you can also follow their instructions to solve sound related problems and report it them using `ubuntu-bug audio` [4]. There are several developers working for(?) Ubuntu who will probably be able to help you really quick.
