DH: I can easily switch displayed chart by double clicking any symbol I
choose in exploration pane ...
In case you are not aware of this, starting from v4.88.0 you can also use arrow
keys instead of the mouse to scroll through the charts. This does not address
your problem but I thought you might find it useful.
Readme file, v4.88.0:
Automatic Analysis window: Added Sync chart on select checkbox
when turned ON, selection of any line from result list automatically
synchronizes (displays) relevant chart. Selection can be made not only by mouse
but also by keyboard effectivelly allowing you to scroll through AA result list
using key down button and charts will be switching automatically. Also when you
press SPACE button, the arrows for selected trade/signal will appear (only
after backtest / scan)

If you use no default columns in your Explore, but then add your own
AddColumn(Name()...) for symbol, it does not double-click.

Subject: [amibroker] Exploration Question
I've used Amibroker for about 3 years and written countless
explorations. When I double click on symbol in exploration pane
chosen symbol is displayed and I can easily switch displayed chart by
double clicking any symbol I choose in exploration pane.
Today however that doesn't work for one exploration I just completed.
Double clicking on specific row in output pane does not fetch
requested chart however if I choose a different exploration it behaves
as expected and chart displays as it has since I started using Amibroker.
I'm a bit perplexed as to why the behaviour would differ from one
exploration to the next. Shouldn't double clicking symbol in
exploration pane always retreive requested chart ?
Curious if anyone's encountered this issue before as well as any
suggestions.
Best Regards,
Dean H.
( Thanks Graham for your earlier suggestion re prior days value
using Foreign function - worked perfectly.)
