BASIC FUNCTION
The QA Analyst for the PVMD Operations team will be responsible for working
cross functionality to ensure a high quality product. They will work
closely with the QA Manager, Development, Product Management and subject
matter experts to analyze and understand feature requirements in order to
devise a testing strategy that covers not only the requirements but any
ancillary scenarios.  Exhibit innovation around driving testing
efficiencies to enable more breadth and depth of testing.  Primary
responsibilities include creating, modifying, and code reviewing automation
test scripts.  Major responsibilities in building and maintaining test
frameworks for Protractor (or Selenium), Unit Test Frameworks and API

[android-developers] loading and post a url without displying the page in the mobile screen

hi,
can we use a browser object to load and hold the contents in a browser
and to post the values to work exactly like a browser so that i can
use where i dont wnt to display a browser but i need to load a url and
to  post the page with cookies, headers.

I m thinking of this way because what i need is working fine in a
browser, but cannot do by using DefaultHttpClient.execute(); and
HttpPost

if possible how can i do it? can any one plese help me with some
sample code.

Hi, I have a login oage which i hve to post with soem user details
like user name , passwords, and some hidden values. i need to submit
the response page aftr login (its an I agree) to make an API request .
I want to do all thse things through code which needs to consider evry
aspcts as we are doing the same using browser.
I submited the first login page using code and got the resonse page.
on submiting the I agree page I m redirected to a some other page.it
seems the cookie is not handled while submiting the second page or may
be some redirects or so.

got from an xml in the format (PnYnMnDTnHnMnS). I  used joda-time.jar
for parsing the time from Period.

I used

[android-developers] Psssing keys for each value in a list view to another view

hi,

 I have a  list view to list some categories. I need to list the
products under each category in a new list. I used arrayList to the
adapter, I am able to list the category names . but I cant pass the
keys (categoryIds) to the next view for getting the products.

Please help me in this regard.

For Now I am trying to display the categoryId in the produts page, but
i am not suceeding :(

Hi,
I want to submit a web page through my application.
for that I am using
DefaultHttpClient httpclient = new DefaultHttpClient();
HttpPost Postmethod = new HttpPost(url to post);//

but on executing the httpclient, that is httpclient.execute
(Postmethod),
 I am getting an error

javax.net.ssl.SSLPeerUnverifiedException: peer not authenticated.
sometimes the submit will work without any error but most of  the time
this shows an error as follows

[android-developers] Cookie not enabled while using HttpPOST

Hi,
I wanted to login to a website thru my application, For that i used

DefaultHttpClient client = new DefaultHttpClient();
HttpPost postmethod = new HttpPost(the url to submit the login data
and related parametrs);

//set header for the postmethos and executed the client,

but I am getting the response as COOKIE NOT ENABLED IN YOUR BROWSER.
I could get all the cookies in
 ListCookie cookies = client.getCookieStore().getCookies();
But how can I post the cookie to the login url?

can I post the COOKIE obj as header , How is it done.?

 Please Help me with some sample code.

[android-developers] login to a web site from android application.

Hi frnds,
my application needs to login to a web site thru the application. How
can i do it?
for that I need to post the username ,password and some other data to
the url.
the code is as follows. I am using SDK 1.0
DefaultHttpClient httpclient = new DefaultHttpClient();
HttpPost httpost = new HttpPost(my url to submit);
List NameValuePair nvps = new ArrayList NameValuePair();
nvps.add(new BasicNameValuePair(user_name, myusername));
nvps.add(new BasicNameValuePair(password, mypassword));
nvps.add(new BasicNameValuePair(hidden_data_to_post, data
to post));
httpost.setEntity(new UrlEncodedFormEntity(nvps, HTTP.UTF_8));
response = httpclient.execute(httpost);
if I execute this code , I will get an error:
Exception in thread main java.lang.RuntimeException: Stub!
with error in the line
DefaultHttpClient httpclient = new DefaultHttpClient();

if I use
HttpClient client = new HttpClient();
try{
method = new PostMethod(https://my url to post);
method.addParameter(user_name, myusername));
method.addParameter(password, mypassword));
method.addParameter(hidden_data_to_post, data to post));
method.setFollowRedirects(false);
client.executeMethod(method);
the response body will be 405 error
if I set the
method.setFollowRedirects(false);  to be true,
the error will be
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Entity enclosing requests cannot
be redirected without user intervention
So what may be the probelm.If I am wrng pls help me with sample code
for logging into a website in SDK 1.0

how can I connect an SSL (htps://) using the SDK 1.0 and submit and
an  XML file to that https link. I did it using the
org.apache.commons.httpclient (commons-httpclient ) library in m5
versions. Now those are not in the new releases.
how can I connect it in new version.

[android-developers] Connecting SSL using 1.0 SDK

I have conncted an ssl (https site) using
org.appache.commons.http.httpclient in m5, but when i updated to the
latest version, the  org.appache.commons.http.httpclient  package is
missing.
instead I could find org.appache.http.client (it was already there ,
but now changed code, i think) etc.
 how can I connect it using the new version. I want to submit an xml
file over the https connection.

Is there any problem in adding  commons-httpclient-x.x.jar  for using
the classes in the old versions? Or can any one tel me any other
alternatives.


can any one help with some sample code.
