The individual should be self-motivated, creative and proactive, to work
successfully in a fast-paced environment including multiple environments
and architectures, diverse technologies and lab environments. The
individual will work closely with testers, project managers, network
engineers and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC, executing test
iterations, tracking / reporting results and troubleshooting. The
individual should have an understanding of SDLC processes and the QA
lifecycle and methodology.


*Responsibilities: *
• Interact with product management, project management and test teams
to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives
• Design and create test conditions and scripts to address business and
technical use
cases
• Use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script
new tools
for performing testing/validation function
• Develop the automation strategy/effort and generate scripts to perform
automated testing using (primarily) Mercury Interactive/HP products
(ALM/Quality Center, QTP, etc), Selenium, Empirix (G5 and FX-TDM)
• Develop scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic
test tools as required for test automation
• Execute and analyze automation test results.
• Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different
teams to drive
towards root cause identification and resolution
• Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate, using Quality Center
or
similar tools/means
• Support testing and/or application deployment during the off-hours for
“validation testing”


*Minimum Requirements: *
• 10+ years of relevant work experience in software and/or test automation
development
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good software development/scripting skills in common languages like VB,
JAVA, PERL ,C++, and/or bash, etc
• Database skills (SQL), mainly in Oracle and SQL Server
• Good experience with different Operating Systems, with emphasis on Linux
and Windows
variants
• Good understanding of object oriented programming
• Knowledge of automated testing tools, like QTP, Selenium, SoapUI, Empirix

*Job Duties and Description:*

 System Analyst not Business Analyst. data model and relational database
knowledge. Need to have some technical skills. They need to speak both
business and technology. And have Claims health care experience.

Rally knowledge would be a huge plus. SQL is one of the ways that is
helpful in bridging that communication gap, in addition to the core
competency of data extraction from our existing database. The ability to
understand datasets that span any number of tables and the related data
model is critical.


*Primary Responsibilities:*

   - Evaluate business requirements and prepare the detailed functional and
   technical specifications that follow project guidelines
   - Work closely with Developers and Quality Assurance Analysts to ensure
   requirements and design are completely understood
   - Communicate design to all stakeholders and varying levels of the
   organization
   - Act as the liaison between Business and Systems Analysts, Developers
   and project management groups
   - Present and evaluate design solutions objectively and facilitate
   conflict resolution
   - Work closely with business teams to strategize solutions that support
   long term business objectives
   - Ensure IT deliverables align with business requirements with
   measurable results
   - Collaborate with QA team to ensure testing efforts align with system
   deliveries and business processes
   - Lead and mentor other Systems Analysts

*Required Qualifications:*

   - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
   - 7+ years of experience in Systems Analysis and Design of business
   software
   - 5+ years of experience translating business requirements into a
   detailed system specification
   - 4+ years of Relational Database experience

*Assets:*

   - Data migration design experience
   - Healthcare experience - Payer preferably
   - Experience working with test plans and test cases
   - Experience facilitating Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions
   - Experience working in an Agile environment or familiarity with Agile
   methodology
   - Data Migration Design experience
   - Proficiency with MS Project, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint

What software skills are needed?
