right -- i got an error calling -
recorder.setVideoSource (MediaRecorder.VideoSource.CAMERA)
- which seemed to indicate that there isn't a shim for the video
recording the way there is for still camera previews.
I don't believe that video recording works in the emulator. It
requires a hardware encoder module.
