If someone wanted to take on such a project and submit a PR then it would
be reviewed. From a general perspective despite the functionality being in
app_voicemail it is not treated as core supported by Sangoma.

Oh nevermind, it must have been a long time since it doesn't exist
anymore, I just selected the appropriate modules to load in
/etc/asterisk/modules.conf and voilà.

Though I wonder if it might not be time to refresh the dependencies of
this feature, especially the UW-IMAP libs. They are not maintained
anymore and eg. they don't support SNI for TLS like most IMAP clients do
nowadays.

Hello,

A while ago, I remember being able to select how my voicemail would be
stored in the "make menuselect" menu.
I'm compiling 20.4.0 and even though the configure step correctly
found both IMAP and ODBC libs and I can compile the app_voicemail.so,
app_voicemail_odbc.so and app_voicemail_imap.so with success, I cannot
seem to be able to actually select which storage backend I want to
use, like I used to in the menu.

Has it been moved somewhere?

    Thanks!
