[Asterisk-Users] Re: Asterisk-Users] can't logon to voice mail - bad password
Paul, What Client are you using? Also what is the output on the console when you dial into the voicemail from that extension? I had the same issue using a BT100 set to early dial. It turned out to be a DTMF issue. Once I played with different DTMF options both on the phone and in the * configs, I managed to get it working. -Art - Original Message - From: Paul Mahler [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, 2004-March-17 17:39 Subject: SPAM [Asterisk-Users] can't logon to voice mail - bad password I have one SIP extension that can't logon to voicemail. Re: RE[2]: [Asterisk-Users] Crossconnect VoIP and PSTN in India. Is it allowed? {Scanned}
What PBX systems do you have in the US and Ukrain? There are a couple of ways I believe you could do this. a) set the PRI port on the Definity as an EM Tie Line, then have * just perform the VOIP Gateway functions. (as if it were point to point tie lines) b) set the PRI port on the Definity as an EM Tie Line, which passes those calls to * which then handles the Gateway and routing functions for the calls to the other locations. (point to multipoint) c) set the PRI port on the Definity as a PRI Line, and use * as a softswitch/gateway. you may want to check out Multitech's website. They have a line of products certified to work with Avaya equipment. Check out their diagrams to get some ideas on how to set up your network for Toll bypass Not sure about the legal issues, I know in the US as long as it remains a private network (not available to the public and only for internal office use) it's ok. It's once you open up all that nice low cost routing of voice traffic to the public, the Public Utilities Commissions start to take notice. -Art - Original Message - From: Vasyl Rublyov [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Sunday, 2004-March-07 15:43 Subject: RE[2]: [Asterisk-Users] Crossconnect VoIP and PSTN in India. The same for people in US/UA - they will dial Indian extensions and go thru, does it possible/permitted? ___ Asterisk-Users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
[Asterisk-Users] Caller ID Name Display
Got my test box up and running. Celeron 2Ghz 1Gb Ram 2x32Gb Hdd, X100P card 2xGrandStream phones. I've got everything working calls come in get processed, delivered to the extension... But what I can't figure out is how to pass the CallerID Name instead of the CallerID number? I've been banging my head, my eyes are blurry, and Google isn't answering... Could someone just point me in the right direction. I did come across a PDF explaining how to set up a cisco 3600 series gateway with a Definity. Maybe it would help. Re: [Asterisk-Users] Lucent Definity CallerID {Scanned}
How are you connecting to the definity? Through analog/digital trunk ports, analog station ports or digital station (BRI) ports using an Eicon Card? I only have Partner and Magix Systems to test on, but when I get the new boards I ordered I'll try it out on the Magix with a few configurations. If I can get the Eicon boards working with * then the Magix should be able to pass boat loads of information to * and vis-a-versa. (Based on call center products installed this should be the same with Definity) Hmmm I wonder if anyone has success using an Eicon card with * ? -Art - Original Message - From: Matthew Branton [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, 2004-February-26 19:37 Subject: [Asterisk-Users] Lucent Definity CallerID {Scanned} Hey Guys, As part of our legacy integration I am trying to get our lucent definity to pass caller id information from internal stations to asterisk, I have no problem getting it from lines passed in from the telco, but the internal stations/vdns etc just don't do it.
