Do you mean it is too late?
Maybe you are right.  Actually I had some irregular issues recently.

But you could use aufs5.x-rcN branch for linux-v5.7 (or linux-v5.7-rcN).
I believe linux-v5.7 users had NOT met a trouble like aufs is not
available.
