Re: [Aus-soaring] Argentinian Championships

2013-02-05 Thread Ruth Patching

Yeah and we know why thats what you want, the only culture in Millicent is what
you find when open the fridge and language is still a series of grunts.  I knew
this would happen when you teamed up with that fellow Wreg from queensland. And
to think the efforts that were put into you, English lessons, how to use a
knife and fork, toilet training, all wasted.

Hi all

A German instructor friend of mine sent me the link below.

Is anyone aware of similar cases in Australia?

Kind regards

[Aus-soaring] 20m Nationals Results

2013-02-05 Thread Adam Webb

Hi All,

Results for the 20m Nationals which finished last week at Narromine.

The weather cooperated and we flew every available day, seeing speeds of
130kph+, a 5 hour AAT and a fixed task of over 500km.

Thanks to all pilots for a fun, friendly and competitive competition,
with a result which came down to the last day. Well done to Team
Maddocks (Nick and Mike) for coming out on top; Terry Cubley and Brian
Rau a close second, and Harry and Wendy Medlicott in their new Arcus in
third place. All the details and the rest of the placings are up on
http://www.soaringspot.com/aus20m2013/results/, and a few pictures are
up on the NGC website at
http://narromineglidingclub.com.au/NarromineTwoSeat/20mTwoSeat_Gallery.html
.

Cheers

Adam
