Apparently several people have (due to the idiotic format - zipped files of 1 page djvu files) severe problems to download not to mention display the files. I have finally managed to create a decently small pdf file from one of them - 25MB. First tries ended with 400MB files ... Anyway, I am not willing to distribute such files via e-mail. If anybody can offer web (ftp?) space for these I will create more pdf files and upload them. Is Sarge on the list?
