Re: Safari 3
Both Preview in BBEdit and Preview in Safari (3.0) are working fine for me. ~Robert On Tuesday, June 12, 2007, at 11:15AM, Dean Matthews [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Anybody else having preview in BBedit crash since installing the Safari 3 beta or is just me? Amen! I've used BBEdit for 10+ years, but feel like I hardly scratch the surface of it most days. I have some UNIX Filters that I'd be happy to share and would like to see others, as well. every time i look at my folder of a bazillion unix filters, i think 'man, other people would probably dig some of these.' i used to have a unix filters cookbook online, but it has fallen into disrepair. if i revived this concept, would some of you guys be willing to contribute content? at a bare minimum, i'd like to have a system where people can submit their unix filters. might also be useful if people could upload screen capture movies of particularly useful workflows they've derived? time and again i use bbedit to automate some dreary text processing task, saving countless hours of slogging, and often saving my client a bunch of money in the process. i can host all of this stuff on my isp without a problem. I'd be happy to help out the same way. I have a co-located Intel Mac Mini running 10.4.9 that has plenty of CPU and network bandwidth and lots of disk space available (200+ GB) for something like this. What I don't have is time to set up something (clients and/or wife would be less than thrilled), but I could provide an account or ten to let someone else work it. thoughts? -stephen Mike Schienle -- -- Have a feature request? Re: spellchecking French in BBEdit?
Jason, In the TEXT menu select Show Spelling Panel from the spelling panel there is a pull down menu to select your dictionary. Espérer que des aides. Re: Question about Code Folding
Google Kreme wrote this pithy remark on 10/10/06 LaTeX in 8.5 doesn't fold at all (feature request already submitted). That is disappointing, though I can see that folding LaTeX is going to be a bear. Yes, he problem with LaTeX is that it has no closing tags so there is little way to indicate where the flod ends. Same issue with markdown I am affraid. __ Robert Ullrey Phone: (916) 600-5619 E-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Please avoid sending me Word or PowerPoint attachments. Re: Opening multiple files in one window?
W. Thomas Leroux wrote this pithy remark on 10/5/06 Edit - Insert - File Contents Ah-ha! That is the one I was looking for, even though I already used the cat solution. The advantage of “cat” though is that you can define the order of the files easier then through the insert command. Also, cat works great from a worksheet. :) __ Robert Ullrey Phone: (916) 600-5619 E-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Please avoid sending me Word or PowerPoint attachments.
