This preference is part of the low-level interface which affects the
overall fidelity of the Squeak user-experience.  If we are going to
make any changes to this, may we please start it out in the Inbox
where we can all try it and discuss it in more objective terms than
love, hate, better and horrible?

I see OCompletion has a head version in SqueakMap, great!  So we can
try it out right now and see why its better..

The automatic supply of the right parenthesis when a left parenthesis is
typed appears to cost me more time in deleting the extra than it saves in
the more rare events when I can use the feature.  How can I safely stop it
for all the p, brackets, and curly braces?  Thanks.

A better way to have, or not have, it is to use a key combination.
Mathematica uses SHIFT-ALT ( , [ , or {  to get (), [], or {}, otherwise
you get the single character.
