Well, this dictionary project (english to bengali) is the opposite in intent of the old dictionary project (bengali to bengali/english). It's history is simple: বলা সহজ, করা শক্ত. No actual work was ever done, AFAIK. Actually, I might have a bit more free time in the foreseeable future than I have had for the past few years, and I would be willing to put in some coding time if there's any interest in reviving the old dictionary project.
