Re: [blfs-dev] A significant BLFS milestone

Since LFS-7.2 was released on September 1st, all 625 (or so) packages in BLFS have been updated. Most are marked as lfs72_checked, and only 9 are marked lfs72_built (but not tested). In addition, all the tickets for package updates and other issues have been addressed. Only two remain and they both await upstream. To my knowledge, we have never been this complete since the start of the project. Of course, the book is not perfect, but we will be able to address new issues and package updates as they come up. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have contributed to getting to this stage. Special thanks go to Armin, Ragnar, Ken, DJ, and Chris for their contributions. I am already finished compiling my desktop environment. About 116 packages for now. Without your work it would not be possible. Thanks. -- Tomasz Sekściński -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
