Hello Friends, I tried to play a video DVD in windows media player but, I get no audio from media player. My sited friends said, that The video is playing correctly. I am using media player9 win xp pro sp2 and jaws 9 . I played the same DVD, in my friend's computer and audio is coming out perfectly. He is also using the same as mentioned above. Avira is the best in my apinion. AVG is not so good in catching viruses, at least the free version, and avast givs too many faulse pozitives. I use avira 2 years already and am very happy wit it. You may have inadvertently engaged the muting funtion, which will silence the audio. Pressing F7 toggles the muting on and off, so try this and see if your sound comes back.
