I know, but will the upgrade disk require a genuine full copy of either XP or Vista? I don't mean it being physically installed but I mean would the disk be required to verify that the upgrade is genuine? I'm clear now. Basically guys, the upgrade editions will be the same as the full, except the upgrade requires a genuine copy of 2000, XP or Vista already installed. Not sure if it does but it would make sense. How else would they justify the higher price for a stand-alone compared to an upgrade, among other things. Since it is only an upgrade offer that really puts a bit of a damper on the good deal.
