Hi, everyone,

Someone on the thunder list gave me a site to open to download some sapi
5 voices. I couldn't open the site to download the voices either with
internet explorer or web IE. I got an error message saying the site was
either unavailable or could not be found and to try again later. I hate
this microsoft sam voice.

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.

2010-10-31 Thread Martina Letochová
1. Insert+n for NVDA menu, then arrow down to preferences and enter
2. Arrow up to speech dictionaries and enter
3. Choose the dictionary you want - the default one is generally for all
voices, the voice one for the current one you use and the temporary one is
just provisional, well, temporary :) press enter to open it
4. There is the list of entries, or if you still haven't added anything
there is nothing yet :) Press tab to add an entry and space to confirm that
5. There are some fields, the most important will be the pattern and
replacement ones so put the word or strings of symbols you want to fix into
the pattern field and whatever you want it to be replaced with into the
replacement field
6. By tabbing further you'll find checkboxes where you can specify if you
want the entry to be case-sensitive and if it should have regular expression
but that part needs some more advanced knowledge; you don't need regular
expression for simple replacements so you can just leave it as it is
7. Tab to OK and confirm it by space, that will still get you to the list,
so tab again to press OK there and you're done

Hello bill;

okay, give this a try;
I'm assuming your using the latest version of windows live mail, 2011.

1, open windows live mail;

2,  press the alt-key, you will probably hear;
home tab, right arrow until you hear;
view tab;

3, now to change the columns for example,
down arrow until you hear;
arrangements sub-menu,
right arrow to open,

and now down arrow until you hear;
sort by, and press the spacebar,
you now can arrange the columns,

another thing you should do is,

again, go to the menu,

right or left arrow until you hear;
view tab,

and down arrow until you hear;
layout sub-menu, right arrow to open.
now, you need to press spacebar on,
message list;
now, tab until you hear,
one line view,
and check with the spacebar,
you will then be placed back into your inbox, of windows live mail.

also, you can use the f6-key,
and press until you hear mail,
now, you can arrow down and enter on a particular choice.

let me no if this works; or helps you.

2010-10-31 Thread David

Hello bill;

well, the instructions I gave you would work with jaws12, however, for
jaws11, they would be a little different.

sorting columns;

1, open windows live mail;

2, alt+v=view;

3, now, down arrow one time;

4, here you can use either the right or left arrow key, to navigate until
you hear;

sort by,

now, press the, spacebar or enter key,

you will see the columns, which you can check or uncheck.

the next thing you should do is;

1, while in windows live mail;
alt+v=view;

2, down arrow one time, again,
use right or left arrow keys, and navigate until you hear;
message list,
press the spacebar or the enter key.

3, now tab and check with spacebar,
one line view;

you will be then placed back into your inbox.

let me no if this helps.
