Hi Alan,

Try the following:

This is how I do it. Open the control panel and go to Printers and Faxes.
Click on your printer name, to open it; find the print job you want to
cancel and press the delete key. Hope this helps.

Take care.

Dear Friends,
I had my computer jam, a paper stuck, after I cleared it, the computer
kept

giving me a message that a file did not print, and to go to somewhere, I
cannot catch the message, as it only flashes for half a second.
I am using Windows XP-Home, JAWS 11, and need to delete this file from the
computer's memory.
Can some kind person tell me where to go, and how to get there!
LOL!
That sounds funny!
Anyway, the computer will not print another page till I clear this file
out

of it's path.
I imagine it is in the Printer Options, but I do not know how to get
there!

Thanks for any assistance.

version available from a google search.

the only not totally accessible is the first screen(s), and all you do there
(if its not trying to upgrade, on that screen route jaws/mouse cursor to pc,

hit alt and a for the actions menu and select and enter on what you wish to

Here is some material that might help you:

To read the Clipboard contents, press WINDOWS Key+INSERT+X.

How To Empty the Clipboard in Windows 7 [Tip]
You can copy, paste, cut the content in and out from Windows clipboard but
do you know if there is a way to clear it up? Apparently, there is.

When needed, simply run the following command in the Dos Prompt window, or
from Win+R Run window:

cmd /c echo off | clip

How to Empty the Clipboard in Windows XP

The Clipboard feature in Windows XP is a key tool in collecting and working
with text, graphics and even files. Whenever you copy and paste text in a
word processing program, or copy and image in an image editing program, you
are using the Windows clipboard to briefly hold that data. After a long
project or a lot of cutting and pasting, you may wish to clear the
clipboard. This can be done with the Clipbook Viewer.

Instructions

1 Click the Windows Start menu and choose Run.

2 Type clipbrd and click OK. The Clipbook Viewer will appear.

3 In the Clipbook Viewer menu, click Edit and choose Delete.

4 You will be asked Do you want to clear the contents of the Clipboard?
Click Yes.

5 Close the Clipbook Viewer.

[Blind-Computing] USB Soundcard, Jaws Not Working After Starting PC

2012-12-06 Thread Mike B.
Hi All,

I have Jaws assigned to a USB soundcard SoundBlaster is my default for all
other sounds. When I start my computer in the morning or reboot the
computer during the day for whatever reason, when the computer starts Jaws
is no longer assigned to the USB soundcard, it comes through the
SoundBlaster soundcard. Each soundcard runs through its own set of
speakers. I have to go into the Jaws context menu / Utilities / Soundcard
sub-menues, press enter on the USB soundcard option to reassign Jaws to
that soundcard. How do I keep Jaws assigned to use the USB soundcard so I
don't have to reassign it every time I start / reboot the computer? I'm
running XP Home Jaws 13 on this computer. All help will be greatly
appreciated. Thank you very much for any all help.

Take care.

Hi, everyone,

I’m thinking of maybe switching to a different email program. Right now I’m
using windows live mail but when I go to clean out my delete folder,
NVDA doesn’t give the full dialog. All it says is “yes” or “no”. I heard
eudora is supposed to be really good but is there a free version of that
email program?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Now, back to the original question:
The information bar may be popping up when you attempt a download,
and you may not be hearing the sound, so after you click on a download
 link,
press Alt + N to access the information bar, and follow the prompts.

many folks use different ones, I myself use Starburn, which has a free
version available from a google search.

the only not totally accessible is the first screen(s), and all you do
 there
(if its not trying to upgrade, on that screen route jaws/mouse cursor to
 pc,
and then find the no/close button and then go on your marry way) you just
hit alt and a for the actions menu and select and enter on what you wish
 to
do, which is all your doing in this screen if you could read it anyway.

after that its a straight forward and completely readable with jaws set
 of
dialog boxes from selection to burn

Not that I'm aware of,
but you can choose free when you install the program.
I don't remember the exact wording, but as you install it, there will be

Honestly, I don't think the program is being developed any longer, but still
works.
