[Blind-Computing] openbook help?
Hi all, I have a doc file that I wish to convert to audio. I open the file in openbook. go through the menu to where it says convert to audio. I then get a message saying it was unsucessful. No other error is given. Which version of Openbook? Also, there are other settings in openbook to set too, like how many files, how many pages per file, what audio quality. The voice and speed in use on the open file at the time that you set the conversion settings, is the voice and speed that will be used. i go and set the page range, select the file where the conversion is to be saved to. when i press enter it says audio conversion failed? Sorry if this is off topic. I have Openbook 8 that I'm trying to put on a windows7 system with 64 bit. I get to where it is installing the freedom import printer which it says is not supported by my windows operation system. What can I do to bypass this part but have the rest of openbook working properly? Hi Stancil, You have to contact Freedom Scientific so they can send you OpenBook 8 for a 64 bit system That's what I did for my Windows7 64 bit system.
