I am changing the block of a 94 540 and am curious about a few things.
Can anyone offer advice on the need to replace knock sensors?  Are they
at all prone to failure?  They are sure easy to change now, but quite
difficult once everything is back together.  If they were really cheap I
would do it for sure.  Any other suggestions on 'must change' items?
