Its pretty tough to get even water dispersion with an M50 intake.

I guess the AquaMist is too expensive for this exercise.

Either Dyson doesn't know what he's talking about or you misunderstood the
thread or both. Carbon buildup on the piston won't be solved with the
kickapoo joy juice from Autorx. The BG product is put into the fuel and
cleans the fuel system and top of the piston where the carbon buildup
occurs that increases the compression ratio and causes hot spots that
create pre-detonation.

I am fairly new to southern ca. I need to get a loan
for a used bmw i am planning to buy. I am buying it
from the original owner not a dealer. I unsure who to
trust after doing a lot of research on line. Who have
you guys used in the past?

Thanks in advance,

I've got a set of half used track tires I'd like to mount on a set of not so
pretty rims. cost is the driving factor since I'm not concerned about perfect
balancing for the use I'm going to have. Does anyone have any moderate priced
tire mounting alternatives in the DC area (i.e. not $30 a corner). Preferrably
on the NoVa side of the beltway.

I suppose I could head over to radial tire. It's just a bit of a haul for me.

I am on th edge of buying new summer tires and what to get some of the lists
opinions:

(max perf. category)
Bridgestone Potenza S-03 PP

Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3

Kumho ECSTA MX

lastly the Yokohama AVS ES100 (ultra high perf. category) (these are cheap)

FYI - Tire Rack is offering a $100 off a purchase of four for most
Bridgestone models. This does make the Pole Positions look more attractive
but I already have them and was thinking of being adventurous.

TIA

Have you considered the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2s?

Andrew,

I have consider the PS2 but the Goodyears are also on sale for about $15/
tire cheaper. Did you have any opinion on the ones I listed or do you have
the PS2s?

Thanks

Clyde

I have the PS2s, and had the S-03s before that. The PS2s are better than
the S-03s especially in terms of feedback. I've never tried the
Goodyears, but a friend with a 350Z Track package was not very impressed
with them, FWIW. My car is an E46 328Ci sport package with stock
suspension for the S-03s, and halfway through the PS2s' lives.

As far as the PS2s and the S-03s is the ride harsher with the PS2s? Are
they louder or quieter than the S-03s? The sale on the S-03s is fairly
significant so the PS2s would need to be better in the areas I just
mentioned as well as wet performance.

What do you think Andre?
