When I was looking for rear wheel bearings for my E30, SKF was one of two
recommended brands. Meyel was not recommended. I don't know about their
wheel bearings, but Meyel control arms and tie rod parts are generally
considered lower quality parts to be avoided.

I used the SKF ones in my E36 track car and they are still good after
22 track days FWIW.

Any impressions on the RTABs from Ireland Engineering versus Powerflex?
Long term street use reliability in particular.

Once upon a time there was a discussion about which dealers offered the
greatest discounts off of BMW list price. I seem to recall that Pacific
BMW was one of them. Is that correct? What are the others? There was a
list of these places on a local E30 web site, but the page is "under
construction" right now.

The particular parts I want to buy will be coming from Germany, if that
matters.

I believe most of the ones who advertise in Roundel give discounts.
Circle BMW is the one I recall, but I know there were others.

FWIW, my local dealer, Momentum in Houston, gives BMW CCA discounts on
parts at their counter.
