While I didn't get to drive it, I spent some time at a Tokyo BMW
dealer (it was conveniently located next door to the Park Hyatt, so
nice of them to think of me) and I found the 1 Series to be pretty
tight. I only tried out the 4 door (er, 5 door) and getting in the
rear seats was a joke. The front wasn't as bad, but still not great.
Maybe the coupe will have larger door openings.

Not for the faint of heart... start with a 2002, add an '89 S14 E30 M3 motor,
smile... :)

Hmmm

e30 318is, 2610 lbs
e30 M3, 2740 lbs

I know somebody's gonna jump me on HP/WT...but looks like I'm keeping the e30's
till they rot!

Lotuses are out of reach. But wait, there's that new Volvo Coupe coming across
soon...did I actually just say that?

cheers!

Will the let me ride that go-kart to work?

How will that 2002 survive in my winter commute?

Guess I too will be keeping the 318is a bit longer.

Later,

Rich
