Details:

Hi,

When installing grub2 on a jfs (IBM Journaling File System) partition, it
fails to boot and gives the following error messages:

error: file '/boot/grub/i386-pc/all_video.mod' not found.
Loading Linux core repo kernel ...
error: file '/boot/grub/i386-pc/relocator.mod' not found.
Loading initial ramdisk ...
error: file '/boot/grub/i386-pc/relocator.mod' not found.

Press any key to continue ...

I am using the Arch GNU/Linux distribution. This does not happen if another
filesystem is used.

What is your GRUB version? Sounds like one of the JFS bugs I've already fixed
in trunk.

2013-10-12 Thread Vladimir Serbinenko
Follow-up Comment #3, bug #40250 (project grub):

What does
grub-fstest /dev/sdaN ls -- -l /boot/grub/i386-pc
say? Looking at code I see one case when it may fail: dirent split across
bnodes. If that's the case this command would show corrupted names.
