[cayugabirds-l] my Screechie remains
My Screech-owl was very cooperative this weekend, making brief appearances in the nest box Sat. and Sun. evening, and this morning. If any of you photographer types would like to take a picture of it for me, I would appreciate it. I'm currently waiting for my scope's iPhone adapter to arrive, but would like to take advantage of the owl's cooperation while it lasts. Let me know off-list if you're game. RE: [cayugabirds-l] Campus Red-morph Screech-Owl
The Red-morph Screech-Owl is still in the inner courtyard as of 4:15pm. A few minutes later, we got a call from Benjamin Van Doren saying he had the bird at Day Hall. He told us the bird is only visible from inside the building looking into the inner courtyard. When Hope Batcheller, Luke Seitz, Tim Lenz and I went to look, I ran into a nice man who told us that the bird was right outside his window on the second floor. He let us make a brief visit and the owl was sitting out in the open on a branch on the second floor on in the northeast corner. -Brad Walker -- Cayugabirds-L List Info: Welcome and Basicshttp://www.northeastbirding.com/CayugabirdsWELCOME Rules and Informationhttp://www.northeastbirding.com/CayugabirdsRULES Subscribe, Configuration and Leavehttp://www.northeastbirding.com/CayugabirdsSubscribeConfigurationLeave.htm Archives: The Mail Archivehttp://www.mail-archive.com/cayugabirds-l@cornell.edu/maillist.html Surfbirdshttp://www.surfbirds.com/birdingmail/Group/Cayugabirds BirdingOnThe.Nethttp://birdingonthe.net/mailinglists/CAYU.html Please submit your observations to eBirdhttp://ebird.org/content/ebird/! -- -- Cayugabirds-L List Info: http://www.NortheastBirding.com/CayugabirdsWELCOME http://www.NortheastBirding.com/CayugabirdsRULES http://www.NortheastBirding.com/CayugabirdsSubscribeConfigurationLeave.htm ARCHIVES: 1) http://www.mail-archive.com/cayugabirds-l@cornell.edu/maillist.html 2) http://www.surfbirds.com/birdingmail/Group/Cayugabirds 3) http://birdingonthe.net/mailinglists/CAYU.html Please submit your observations to eBird: http://ebird.org/content/ebird/ --
