Inspired by the report from yesterday, I went looking and at 2:30 found a juvenile Black-crowned Night Heron perched in a tree on the far side of the inlet directly behind Barnes and Noble.
Nearby, by the entrance to Nate's Floral Estates was what I think was a Muscovy Duck.
