I guess this is the day for returning R-b Grosbeaks as they showed up at
our house in Caroline Center this morning as well as everywhere else it
seems. We are often a few days behind other locales when it comes to
returning migrants so it seems like they showed up en mass last night/this
morning. We also still have at least 4 Pine Siskins still around.

On another note...for those who might be interested, wildlife artist David
Kiehm (who has shown at the Lab of Ornithology in the past) will have a
selection of his work, and will be doing a painting demonstration this
Friday (May 1) at Handwork from 5-8 PM. Handwork is located on the corner
of State and Cayuga Streets in Ithaca.
