HI all, I was out scouting the roads and we’re good to go for a half-day trip on the west side of Cayuga Lake on Sunday, March 4. We'll look for wintering waterfowl on the lake as well as winter field birds nearby. We'll meet by the big turtle in the Ithaca Children's Garden at 8:00 am for carpooling and expect to return at 12:30 pm. Wear warm layers to protect from the cold, windy conditions that I expect and bring a snack and something to drink. Bring a scope if you have one. If not, we’ll share ours. All are invited to join us on this trip regardless of experience level or membership status.
