Esto no tiene nada que ver con CentOS, muy offtopic.

Red Hat upgraded the libvirt provided in 7.5 from 3.2.0 to 3.9.0, but
they don't provide a Xen driver, which is the reason you are seeing the
dependency issue.

A 4.1.0 release of libvirt is currently in testing, along with other
updates to deal with CentOS 7.5 changes. You also need to exclude the
seabios updates because HVM guests cannot boot using the new Red Hat
version.

The best workaround for now is probably to either set up
yum-plugin-priorities and set a high priority on the centos-virt-xen*
repo, or exclude=libvirt* seabios* in your base and updates repos.

Re: [CentOS-es] Problemas acceso a pagians Canadienses

2018-05-17 Thread Death User

[CentOS] C 7, selinux, and rpc.gssd

2018-05-17 Thread m . roth
Folks,

As systems are upgraded, we're getting a ton of complaints
(fortunately, we're in permissive mode) that would break everything.
All of them involve rpc.gssd, and I see a number of bugs listed when I
search.

Note that I first saw this on a RHEL system, but now I'm seeing it on
CentOS 7. I'm bringing it up here, because, given that there are
multiple reported, that there's some bigger picture involving policy
and rpc.gssd.

I'll note that some of the reported bugs were *closed last year, or
before, so it seems to me an old issue resurfaced.

Example.
SELinux is preventing /usr/sbin/rpc.gssd from using the block_suspend
capability.

[CentOS-virt] libvirt and libvirt-daemon-xen: failing dependencies

2018-05-17 Thread Frank Sauerburger
Hi all,

I'm trying to install libvirt for xen on a brand new, minimal
installation of CentOS 7.5.1804. After installing the OS, I did a 'yum
update' and followed the basic how-tos at

https://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/Xen/Xen4QuickStart

and

https://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/Xen/Xen4QuickStart/Xen4Libvirt

From previous experience, I know that the above steps worked fine.
However, now on CentOS 7.5, I am seeing the dependency resolution failing.

$ yum install libvirt libvirt-daemon-xen
[ ... ]
Error: Package: libvirt-daemon-xen-3.2.1-402.el7.x86_64 (centos-virt-xen-46)

   libvirt-daemon = 3.2.1-402.el7

   libvirt-daemon = 3.9.0-14.el7
   Installing: libvirt-daemon-3.9.0-14.el7_5.2.x86_64 (updates)
   libvirt-daemon = 3.9.0-14.el7_5.2

[ ... similar errors ... ]
You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest

I've never seen an error like this before. As far as I read it,
libvirt-daemon-xen wants version 3.2.1 of its dependencies. I've checked
the repositories and it seems that in 'base' and 'updates' we have
version 3.9.0 and in the 'virt' repo we have 3.2.1 of libvirt. Can I
solve this issue on my end? Should I force yum to install the packages
from the 'virt' repo?

Cheers,
Frank

are placed? RHEL sources are going into git.centos.org but what about e.g. RH
OpenStack Platform packages or others products?

Re: [CentOS] How to build nss-util.i686 on Centos 7 with mock

2018-05-17 Thread Nux!
Hi Martin,

You need to build a "epel-7-i386" mock profile and use that. Now I call it
"epel" so it resembles the default profile, but there is no EPEL 32bit for EL7.

There is a 32bit CentOS 7 tree here http://mirror.centos.org/altarch/7/os/i386/

If there are deps required and are not there you'll need to backport them from
Fedora I guess.

[CentOS] How to build nss-util.i686 on Centos 7 with mock

2018-05-17 Thread Martin Vogt

Hello list,

I'm currently trying to build the i686 version of

http://vault.centos.org/7.5.1804/os/Source/SPackages/nss-util-3.34.0-2.el7.src.rpm

The x86_86 version works with mock, but I cannot figure out
how to build the i686 version.

best regards,

Martin

Re: [CentOS] Creating a bootable USB to install CentOS 7

2018-05-17 Thread KM
Thanks for the feedback.  It actually was easy with Rufus and worked fine.
I've installed both boxes. I appreciate it as always.KM

I need to copy CentOS 7 to a USB to boot from and install on
servers. I have searched and there are a lot of different pages. I
wanted someone to give me some tips or current places to look for easy
ways to do this.

Did you try https://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/InstallFromUSBkey ? Note
the section "Using Windows".

I'm not using Digikam - but I'm having a similar problem with another
unconnected package

However, I've now created my own 'exiv2-libs-compat' RPM which fixes my
problem

Thanks
