Information clear enough. Now I know where I could find it, would
matter next time.

Since I'm using a git version built from the sources, I'm good to
install a fresh pass built from the sources as well (easy task) or use
a pass package from before they abandoned it for C7.

Thanks for your quick answers!

This is probably more appropriate for one of the EPEL lists, but:

You can see in the epel7 branch for the 'pass' package:

https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/pass/blob/epel7/f/dead.package

that it refers to this BZ:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1639806

which says:

The latest version of 'pass' uses the '-C' git option which is not
available in the git version available on CentOS 7.

so they removed it from epel7.

Packages in EPEL are made available by the volunteer who maintains it.
https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=14675 shows
that the maintainer of pass seems to have stopped maintaining it in
EL7 a long time ago and it is currently 'orphaned' in it.

[CentOS] pass on CentOS 7

2021-06-16 Thread wwp
Hello,

I read here and there that `pass` is available for CentOS 7 through the
EPEL repository. In which I cannot find it :-). I see it available for
C8 but not C7. Was it removed?

Worked for me with installing the NetworkManager-dispatcher package.
