ONLY when I arrowed down to that option did I see info on the side saying it was for XP, Vista and older? newer?. The other option was RAID. I set it to that... and the install went with no problems. While booting, if you hit them and it's not *too* soon in the boot process, screen will be running, and you can get another console window. There's eight, I think, available, and three and four show diffent logging info - I think one gets copied to boot.log, or dmesg, and the other to /var/log/message. At any rate, they're written to the screen. I am hanging prior to the kernel being loaded. I have change what few options there are in the bios (v1.1.12), no luck.
