Re: any flash experts?
p.s use a transparent .png format for best results. Also there is actionscript where you can alter the color in advanced stages... Unless you specifically need it an image sliding to the left in a gradient until it disappears is the same as an image moving to the left while winding down transpareny and advanced color attributes. Just a thought. try actionscript.org or www.actionscript-toolbox.com - helen trilio has some very good resources if I remember about color on that site. good luck jay miller P.S. - Flashmacromedia is a very good list where you'll get most your answers. i personally love chatty fig leaf - but save it for the completely technical and serious questions for advanced. RE: any flash experts?
actually what i have done, which makes complete and utter sense, is to not even use a mask layer. i just have my upmost layer, a rectangle, with a liner fill, that is white in the middle and transparent on the ends (or vice versa) and that does the trick perfectly. :) thanks! -Original Message- From: Ewok [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, May 30, 2003 1:42 AM To: CF-Talk Subject: Re: any flash experts? you mean like this? http://fwv-us.com/ ( the change minds spinning constantly wasnt my idea heh) im not a big flash expert, you may be able to do it in flash alone but this was with a imported gradient image (white to transparent) - Original Message - From: Tony Weeg [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: CF-Talk [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, May 29, 2003 6:42 PM Subject: OT: any flash experts? hey, any flash people out there... sorry cftalk for the ot, but this is something i gotta figure out, before i waste too much time with flash... can i do a gradient mask, so that images could go from one side to the other, and when they get to the left side they fade into white? does that make sense? thanks... and sorry :/ tony tony weeg [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.revolutionwebdesign.com rEvOlUtIoN wEb DeSiGn 410.334.6331 ~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribeforumid=4 FAQ: http://www.thenetprofits.co.uk/coldfusion/faq This list and all House of Fusion resources hosted by CFHosting.com.
