Did anyone feel the earth shake/move right before 2:00 this afternoon? My house moved from side to side. The people across the akkey think it might have been an earthquake/tremor. I totally felt it! I ran down to the basement with Daisy because I was thinking tornado but I think it was an earth quake. Oh my goodness!! Is everyone alright? I definitely felt it here on 3000 block of Guilford Ave. It is reported to be a 5.9 or 6.0 centered near Richmond. No damage. One neighbor reported a vase knocked over. Make your own opinion, but at 3:00 PM the Jones Falls was backed up for miles -- 25th Street was totally backed up from Howard Street to Greenmount Ave. I am just reporting what I saw--you don't have to believe what I saw. [Chat] Stabbing on 3000-block of Guilford
Hello, neighbors, There was a serious stabbing attack on our block. The story we heard is that a man returned home to find an intruder who attacked and stabbed him multiple times. Police arrived about 10 minutes after the 911 call. I saw them wheel the man away on a stretcher. He was conscious and lifted his head. I could see blood on his legs. Somebody heard him joke that he thinks he won't be going to work tomorrow. Guilford at 31st is taped off as a crime scene and the police just asked everyone to go inside. Nobody we talked to saw the attacker. We have a friend who moved next door just a week ago. She came to Charles Village to find a safer neighborhood.
