[CinCV] audio out of sync with video
I am trying to import a video (mpg format) into Cinelerra. I've noticed a significant shift of audio. The audio is delayed 3 to 5 five seconds for a 5 minute video. Tried to google a solution, have no luck. Any tricks are highly appreciated. [CinCV] Newbie questions on compiling cinelerra/cinecutie on 64bit system and external ffmpeg.
Hi all, The only difference that the documentation makes between compiling cinelerra-cv for x86 system and 64bits one is something to replace in the makefile for ffmpeg (see http://cinelerra.org/docs/wiki/doku.php?id=english_manual:cinelerra_cv_en_2#usual_compilation_process). This article on compiling Cinelerra on 64bits system == http://www.blog.darkwhite.in/2009/10/compiling-cinelerra.html doesn't give more options... neither the mule's how-to == http://crazedmuleproductions.blogspot.com/2010/02/fedora-12-x86-64-cinelerra-install.html . It's always configure - make - make install scheme. So the question is: Is there something specific to do for 64bits compiling or is the documentation out of date? I guess the compilation adapt itself to the architecture (with configure-make-make install) but why are the libs installed in /usr/local/lib and not /usr/local/lib64? I often hear about using Cinelerra with external ffmpeg... What are the advantages of this method? Can Cinelerra handle more formats (or better) with external ffmpeg? I do use this script with Canon HFS100. http://code.google.com/p/hdffxvrt/ It is for iMovie, but works just fine to me/Cinelerra. I do use ffmpeg from svn.
