I think a walk through demo should be included as a part of our first meetup.
You won't expect the first time comer can jump in and make contribution to the
code. We need show them the ability of CloudStack.

but few only are implementing,

If Demo is recorded and posted then it wil be helpful for users and
business.

Decent question. I think for the first event we picked a few topics that

 two.

Will look into seeing if we can record the event.

2013-02-08 Thread John Kinsella
Decent question. I think for the first event we picked a few topics that we
thought would be of general interest, but what we really want to get out of the
night is to see what the audience wants more of - then we can steer future
meetings either towards more user-focused issues, more dev or hackathon type
events, or what I suspect will happen - a mix of the two.

Will look into seeing if we can record the event.

No, what I meant is, who is our audience? Developers? Or users?

I don't think users would be much interested in how to write a plugin.
They would interested in how I can use it more.

I believe a demo would be a good thing as well for the users who are not
too familiar with CloudStack.

Re: First SF bay area cloudstack meetup!

2013-02-08 Thread Animesh Chaturvedi
Well as for audience I was thinking both dev and users. This being our first
one when John and I discussed we wanted to keep it simple. For the subsequent
meetups we can either do theme based or have separate tracks for dev and users.

We still got just over a week to refine the talks so folks please chime in

Thanks
Animesh
