Tom -

Overlooking your slightly incorrect link, called the
DC gummit about another matter today, and learned that
they know nothing about the 22nd (Earth Day), although
that is clearly listed on the website, instead promote
a Saturday 21st dropoff at Carter Barron, 9am to 3pm.
Caveat emtor, this of course is also subject to
change, all is heisenberg uncertainty in our Capital.

Very easy. Very sweet people.

Yesterday's TV news reported long lines at the Carter Barron recycling
site sponsored by DC. So we got to Freedom Plaza 45 minutes before the
start. There was no line. We were immediately directed to pull over to
the curb and they helped us unload directly to the curb and they sent us
on our way. It is now just past 10:30 and I'm back here at my computer.
It could not have been easier. YMMV.

The woman who pullled over right after us was discarding an original Mac.
A guy who was helping me unload reminisced that he had paid $2500 for his
and I said I had too. P.S. I'm keeping my original Mac, but my 1st PC
was gleefully discarded years ago.

This Sunday 11 AM to 3 PM at Freedom Plaza (13 E St NW in DC).

Looks like the drop off point is at the corner with the statue of Casimir
Pulaski flag:wavePolish military commander and American Revolutionary
War hero/flag:wave).

Overlooking your slightly incorrect link...

How about posting your version of the link?

Since the link I gave continues to work for me, I can't fix it.

In the past DC would not take you junk unless your car had DC plates.
