-Caveat Lector- Cain and Abel were NOT the ONLY children Adam and Eve had. In fact they bore many children as it was God's command for Adam and Eve to replenish the earth. In fact one theory states that the Lord bless them to conceive twins each time so that the male and female of different twin births were to get married and bear more children to avoid genetic corruption of the human race. God's miracles are produced by divine laws partly unknown to men and not by their senseless destruction. Then it follows the question: then why only Cain and Abel are especially mentioned in the Bible? The answer partly lies in the fact that the Lord wanted to record for us the first conspiracy in the world, whose consequences are so far-reaching for the human kind nowadays. Unfortunately, the Bible does not state (though it emplies) that Cain was NOT alone in his conspiracy to kill Abel. Neither was Abel himself. When exposed, Cain was punished and some of God's children (not few) and their families followed him and did not repent of their deeds, rejecting God's words and those who supported Abel. The deeds of Cain's seed is another story. Ever since, every big or small conspiracy, a Hitler or any other mass murderer,supported by powerful forces, is in a certain sense Cain`s seed symbolically speaking.
