Robert Cohen has just been removed from the American delegation to CODEX. He will NOT be going to Tokyo on Saturday. MONSANTO called in a favor, and in doing so, removed America's voice of opposition. In doing so, they have revealed the scope of their power, and exposed the continuing betrayal of American interests by FDA officials. Last night, FDA faxed a FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT response to Cohen, and the information contained within that document conclusively demonstrates that MONSANTO defrauded the FDA in 1994 during the approval process for their genetically engineered bovine growth hormone. Robert Lake removed Cohen from the CODEX meeting. Mr. Lake has ignored the multi-million dollar lobbying efforts of other members of the CODEX team. MONSANTO does not want Americans to enjoy the right to know whether the foods they eat are genetically engineered or not. MONSANTO has Lake's ear, and Lake removed Cohen, despite Cohen's protest.
