This voice vote ended an intense three hour hearing, with many amendment discussions and votes. The bill finally passed with the support of Representative Dave Bishop, a powerful senior member from Rochester, the home of the Mayo Clinic. In fact, Mr. Bishop was very instrumental in helping craft language that enabled the amendments to move relatively quickly through the committee. This vote was the most important moment in the 3 1/2 year history of the freedom movement and the 1 year history of the freedom legislation. The bill must now be heard by all additional house committees by 10 March, and it is expected that the bill will be voted on by the full house of representatives by sometime in April. Now that the bill has passed the house civil law committee, the senate health committee will hear the bill. It is expected that the bill will follow a similar road in the senate to the one it followed in the house, and, if successful, that it will be enacted by both houses this spring. ------------------------------------------------------------- To leave this list use your Web browser on URL http://www.lyghtforce.com/leave-homeo-list.html { in case of difficulty contact <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> } ------------------------------------------------------------- www.ctrl.org DECLARATION & DISCLAIMER ========== CTRL is a discussion & informational exchange list.
