[CTRL] How to do forwards without sending viruses
-Caveat Lector- In your mail preferences, you should have 2 options for forwarding: 1. as attachment 2. as in-line text. Select the inline text option. This way, the text will come through, as plain text, and all the coding will be stripped out. It has the added bonus of being able to edit the information forwarded, such as stripping out those 3 pages of headers that came with it in the first place, and the half page of footers as well. If you don't have this option in your mail program, then copy and paste the text into a clean email document. -Caveat Lector- Well on the Web I can make a copy of some items that are not too long; I have always forwarded original story which then can be pulled up under ths subject line for verification as to its authenticity. Now to copy of web, you use Command A to highlite, and then hit c and x and then to reproduce you hit the v. Now I have had so many computer boards in my brain and once operated telecomunications system, etc., but this virus stuff I do not think was even invented them but this was strictly official business. The web you are aware is a simple battery operated keyboardyou direct to the TV and it does everything I need it to do; web tv manages most of my stuff for me, and for twenty dollars a month or so, you get your money's worth. This Snow White thing when it first came out did not know what it was; and I would try to bring up the little box at lower left bottom on this web, and I would be cut off. Once I could not disconnect.for I did not realize the what this virus thing was. I do have plain text mail and this does not do anything too fancy - I could send now in color and all that stuff, but I do not want to learn how to do this stuff - for instance the keyboard to the web battery operted keyboard, the send key is where my IBM escape key is..used to be I would revert back to my old keyboard and send out stuff before it was ready etc. I have maybe 8 different keyboards in my brain and am now oriented more to this little toy keyboard. Have written to Norton too and web and other individual re how this could be sent to me with only '' as a name and address So best to just make copy of the item as you say. This web tv is nice and you do not have to bother with computer talk.my computer is not hooked up to a modem and is now nearly 10 years old but is adequate for my purposes. This web keyboard you just put on lap and type..getting used to it now for it does most of the work for me.
