Just a reading of the 28th chapter of Matthew will prove the lie to the whole article. In that chapter Jesus talks extensively about his (physical) return (the second coming) and the signs that will presage it. True, he accomplished the purpose of his first advent which was to die on the cross to provide a means for the forgiveness of sins of believers and their eventual entry into the Kingdom of God. In that chapter Jesus also relates how various groups of people will be treated according to what they have or have not done at the "White Throne" judgment, another purpose of his second advent. The fall of Jerusalem and destruction of the temple was prophesized by Jesus. That was separate and apart from the tribulation he (Jesus) talks about later.
