In his book on Vietnam and JFK's assassination, Col. Fletcher Prouty
pointed out that about half of the helicopters in Vietnam crashed. I
think about half of those were non-combat. He said that with helicopters
you don't need an enemy.

 CRASHING APACHES ARE KAMIKAZES?
 ===

(CNNS, 05/05/99) -- In World War 2, the Japanese used Kamikaze
pilots who served on suicide missions. They would purposely
crash their bomb-laden planes into U.S. ships. It was part of
 Japanese war strategy.

The ABC News web site reports today that "a second Apache
helicopter has crashed in Albania." This means that 2 of the 24
Apache helicopters sent to Albania have crashed even before
they've been used to attack the Serb "enemy."

Is the overall strategy to be that the pilots of the Apache
aircraft will be Kamikazes? And is the true reason for the
premature crashes due to overeagerness on the part of some pilots
to prove their loyalty to the divine emperor, Bill Clinton? That
 is one possible explanation.

Another explanation for the crashing Apaches is given in a recent
issue of Mother Jones magazine. The AH-64D Apache Longbow was
pre-specified to have a Vertical Rate Of Climb (VROC) of 450 feet
per minute. And Boeing, which makes the Apache, did (in a way)
deliver on the specifications. The Apache does have a VROC of
better than 450 feet per minute, as long as it's not weighed down
with missiles and extra fuel. "Army engineers say that for every
pound the [Apache] Longbow gains, the helicopter loses 0.839 feet
 per minute of lift." [1]

In theory, this translates to a fully loaded Apache not only
being unable to climb at all, but even being unable to maintain
altitude. The Apache's full complement of 12 missiles weighs
1,721 pounds. If, as Army engineers say, every pound equals a
loss of 0.839 VROC, that means 1,721 pounds multiplied by -0.839
VROC equals -1,443.919 VROC. Mother Jones magazine calculates
the VROC of a fully-loaded Apache as "*negative* 549 feet per
 minute." [2]

Mother Jones cites a report from the General Accounting Office
(GAO), which states that the Apache helicopter lacks the "agility
to operate successfully in combat." [3]

In related Military-Industrial Complex news, Teledyne, Inc., is
connected with the manufacture of "cluster bombs." It is not yet
ascertained by this news service whether Teledyne assists in
building or builds the cluster bombs now being used in our
"conflict" with Yugoslavia. Cluster bombs "explode in the air
and release fiery bomblets that cover a wide range." [4] In
1995, Teledyne was sued and settled out of court for $2.2
million. Allegedly, Teledyne used "falsified tests to sell
substandard radio gear to the U.S. government. Employees had
been instructed to fake tests of electronic gadgets on Stinger
and other missiles that enable U.S. soldiers to distinguish
friendly from enemy aircraft... About 2,500 components that
failed tests were sold to the military." [5]

 -Caveat Lector-

I think like the kids in Colorado..at least the one - or both - were
suicidal and it was caused by a drug.

USAF has been giving the pilots drugs for this jet lag that causes
amesia, disorientation, etc., and in some instances, suicidal
tendencies.

If the are still using this drug - and I can only presume they are, they
should know better.

Two out of twenty-four - but remember the Blue Angels, three taken out
at once, the pilot who for no reason flew into a mountain (they said he
was depressed over religion - remember thatwhat drug did they put
him on).

In Viet Name, they also sent out our troops on drugs, and drugs were
pretty wide spread.

Why doesn't Clinton investigate this; do you wonder now why the troops
in some cases refused to be innoculated against
"anthrax" which equites to meningitis

And there was Governor Pete Wilson tonite observing the billion dollar
damage in Oklahomawill that guy ever wise up. I do know for a fact,
that there are certain governors who know all about the weather
modification program.

Wonder why they built all those houses on slabs when they also knew,
there was danger of tornados; but then, why do they permit the
government to blow away an entire city with this program.
