Personally, I see this as going beyond the media. I notice that the more people I meet, the more buy into the news they see everyday, and more people only want to see one side of the argument. Mr. Pelletiere's arguments could possibly have opened many eyes, but I have my doubts. The media pushing the New World Order is a very likely idea, but the phrase "give the audience what they want" comes to mind. Perhaps the audience has mostly already accepted the N.W.O. and the news is only telling them what they "know".

Well as they say, he can no longer take divorce cases in Arkansas and he
can no longer take a Federal Case involving things like tax evasion,
civil rights, etc.  The usual mundane cases.but as a private
citizen, guess he could represent himself adequately and save himself a

criminal charges.

At least Clinton looks as though he finally feels our pain.

Well Bill I can spell if I think all the time - occasionally use a there
for a their,  or a has for a have - but I sit here typing on a tiny
keyboard, and the letters are all worn off and if I look at the keyboard
I cannot type.plus, always in a hurry and typing fast you tend to
make mistakes.

Have used many different keyboards in my tme and the escape key is
different on different sides of keyboard and often my mind switiche to
wrong keyboard for I have wonderful IBM computer keyboard but no modem
but it is good for personal stuff.

Whenver I did writing in the past, had someone else doing the editing -
even Mary Farrell in Dallas on the Assassinatin Committee used to edit
my work, for she said my writing ability was lacking (hers wasn't that
hot either) but boy she loved to edit it for me for she said I sure as
hell knew how to get at the facts from which many profitted..

So much for misspelled words and dellusions of granduer for I never said
I was a writer but was told once by an MI6 I as the best researcher she
ever saw and that was from a best seller author.

Today when I read our letters of which I have 100's you should see the
words and strike overs (like Jessica Fletcher she used old beat up
manual typewriter) and misspelled words not due to lack of intelligence
but rather lack of time.

So someday when I have more time I could send out messages with perfect
grammar and spelling - but as my old friend used to say don't fret and
worry about that - we have editors to do this kind of stuff.

Anything duller than an editor with no original thoughts but I say they
can take a piece of pure research and put the magic touch on same.

And today using proper grammar is like - well being alone in a crowd.

I, too used to have an editor, but to make a long story short, he was
promoted to glory as they say in the Salvation Army.

It seems that meat got to the point where he refused to buy it any longer.
So, he started to eat ALPO. I could never do that, don't like the smell of
the stuff. Anyway, the pundits say that you become what you eat. So, one day
he was cross the busy highway in from of his house, sat down in the middle of
the highway to lick his, well you get the picture, got hit by a speeding
truck and killed outright.

Please forgive us, June, most of us still cling to that moment when Christ

Clinton had military experience, it's the vast number of members of Congress

Military.  He was in the Korean war and the whatever you want to call it in
Vietnam.  He was a professional military man, and it was his business to go
where ever his organization sent him.  He is also not stupid, and he knew what
the Vietnam thing was.  Did he do his duty.  Of course.  Does he blame Clinton
for managing not to have to go there.  No he does not.  In fact, we might call
a lot of folks who actually served in the military, draft dodgers.  I worked
with a ton of guys who enlisted into the Air Force to keep from being drafted
into the army.  The time was longer, but the time actually under fire was

The difference between Clinton and guys like Lott, Gingrich, Armey, Gramm et
al is that Clinton was against the Vietnam War because he realized that it was
corrupt and against US interests, even participated in a demonstration against
it.  These other fellow were all for the war.  Armey even said that his draft
dodging was OK since he always spoke out in favor of the war.  Many of these
hawks would say that we must support the war (prolong it) since that would be
in support of our troops.  Does anyone not know how one of our soldiers in
Vietnam would have responded to a sudden cessation of the fighting and going
back home with the war unwon?  I fully respect those draft dodgers who were
motivated by the evil of the war or even simply realized that it did not make
sense.  I do not respect the draft dodging of the war supporters.

(The reaction of Private Ryan was baloney - the reality is that our soldiers
in WWII were never rotated.  If they were front-line troops, they remained in
the thick of it until the war ended, they were injured, or they were killed.
Any one of them would have fell to his knees and after thanking God, would
have eagerly permitted Tom Hanks to escort them to safety.)

I do agree that innocent people will be injured and killed in addition to
their property destroyed and they will be indirectly harmed by destruction of
utilities.  That is why people like Lugar, Gingrich, and Lott should not
be so
eager for war as a way to prove their manhood, i.e. show machismo by sending
other to die.  Strange how on the right, with people like Safire who have
been
screaming for the US to bomb Iraq, there are now only pacifists.

The White House notified the Joint Chiefs of Staff on Sunday that President
Clinton would order air strikes this week, 48 hours before he saw a United
Nations report declaring Iraq in noncompliance with weapons inspectors, it was
learned from authoritative sources last night.

Several Pentagon officials have questioned Mr. Clinton's timing to order
strikes on the eve of the House impeachment debate.

Pentagon sources said National Security Council aides told the Joint Chiefs to
quickly update a bombing plan that was shelved in mid-November and were told
that a strike would be ordered in a matter of days.

Israeli spokesman Aviv Bushinsky said yesterday in Jerusalem that President
Clinton discussed preparations for an attack with Israeli Prime Minister
Benjamin Netanyahu just minutes before Mr. Clinton flew home from Israel's
Ben-Gurion Airport on Tuesday, ending a three-day peace mission.

White House spokesman Joe Lockhart insisted that Mr. Clinton made the strike
decision yesterday based on the U.N. finding of noncompliance.

Nevertheless, a senior congressional source, who asked not to be named, said
senior Pentagon officers expressed great skepticism to him about the raids.
This source said that the White House eagerness to launch air strikes grew

with intensity as a parade of centrist Republicans announced they would vote
to impeach the president, in a vote originally scheduled for today.

"I have had senior flag and general officers question the timing," the
congressional source said. "I have had senior military officers laughing. I
hate to say that. ... Why now? He hasn't built a coalition. He hasn't done
anything. Why this timing?"

Reporters and others traveling with the president in the Middle East remarked
during last weekend that the president seemed uncharacteristically unconcerned
about events unfolding in Washington, and several White House aides expressed
puzzlement that the president seemed to have lost his "fighting spirit." Mrs.
Clinton was noticeably cool to the president as their visit there continued
and drew away from him on several public occasions.

The Joint Chiefs were described as strongly supporting yesterday's attack.
They wanted to launch missiles in mid-November, after Saddam Hussein evicted
inspectors. The president called off the attack just minutes before "H hour"
after Saddam promised to cooperate with inspectors.

Defense Secretary William S. Cohen yesterday strongly disputed charges the
attack is linked to impeachment.

"The only factor, from my point of view ... or for anyone else's point of
view, was what is the national security interests of the United States," Mr.
Cohen said. "We are convinced. We have absolutely no doubt this is the right
decision."

Mr. Cohen also said war planners preferred not to attack during Ramadan, the
monthlong Islamic observance beginning this weekend.

This is the second time military officers and experts have questioned whether
Mr. Clinton timed U.S. military action to take attention away from the Monica
Lewinsky scandal.

Nobody has called to ask me, but I've got a suggestion. Reconvene the
judiciary committee at first light tomorrow, draft the obvious 5th article of
impeachment and hand it to the full house by, say, 10:00AM. The impeachment
vote could be accomplished by noon and the Senate would have the rest of the
afternoon to do what needs to be done.
