"(I)mprove weaknesses"?
I have heard of correcting a weakness, and
improving a strength, but 'improving a weakness'?
Either that was a faux pas, or they actually intend
becoming weaker.
As to your comment about the computer game,
might I suggest that the results of such an affair are closer
to the comedic ending to Casino Royal, the movie that
parodied the James Bond series.
