DazukoFS is a stackable filesystem. DazukoFS is able to capture file access events because it sits between userspace and the actual filesystem. Redirfs is not a filesystem. It is a module that modifies the filesystem callbacks for the currently mounted filesystems so that its own functions are called instead. This is how it captures file access events. Once its own functions are finished, it calls the original filesystem functions.
